Kraves Vegan Foods — Restaurant in New York

You won’t be able to find this restaurant if you’re looking for it at the address, because it’s a ghost restaurant (pickup/delivery only) but please don’t give up!!! I almost gave up even though I was very curious about it because I couldn’t find the restaurant, before I learned it was pickup/delivery only.

I am SO glad we ended up ordering here - everything we got was amazing, especially for vegan food but even in general compared to non-vegan food!! We got the Lo Mein, crunch wrap, fried cauliflower, and mushroom burger which was around 65$ total and enough food for 4 of us. Another time we got fried rice, quesadilla, mac and cheese, and empanadas which was enough for 5. Favs were mushroom burger (better than shake shack) and empanadas (best in my life!).

I’m not vegan but my sister is and we’ve tried many vegan spots but this was definitely one of my top favorites in the city for its taste, quality, and price/ volume. I can tell they put lots of thought into each dish to make it delicious and stand on its own (ie doesn’t feel like a vegan “alternative”). The menu is also very unique and interesting, offering everything from Asian to southern comfort food - I wanted to try everything! The service was also great when I called them and they prepared my order very promptly.

10/10 would recommend, I hope more people try this place!! I hope they can put a physical sign or poster for the restaurant nearby so more...

I have ordered from this location twice and have nothing but excellent things to say about both experiences.

The price point is reasonable, the service was incredible, and the food was delicious.

I had the oyster mushroom sandwich the first time and the burger the second (fries with both). I preferred the chicken sandwich but greatly enjoyed both dishes. Some of my favorite fries in the city!

On both occasions I did a pickup order (there is no dine-in option) and I received a direct phone call when my food was ready. Everyone I've interacted with has been so personable and communicative. The man who brought me my food on the second occasion seemed so excited that I was a return customer.

I happened to find this place on a whim since we were going to a concert nearby and I’m so glad I did. The buffalo Mac and cheese is hands down the best vegan Mac and cheese I’ve had so I’ll be back simply for that. My husband got a burger and fries and he really enjoyed them as well, and we shared the fried cauliflower which was so good. Chef Charles brought us our food and he was super nice, I genuinely wish I could have stayed to chat, he had very good energy, but our concert started an hour early so unfortunately we had to rush off. Looking forward to ordering again very soon! Can’t wait to try the...
