MORTON WILLIAMS LEAVES CUSTOMERS OUT IN THE COLD Apparently shoplifting is on the rise.  Nonetheless, I am tired of being inconvenienced because of other peoples' misbehaviors.  Merchants would rather lock up their products and lock their doors than hire security.

Morton Williams has decided to shut down the registers and lock the doors at the "Freedom" Place entrance at night to prevent shoplifters from exiting the store with groceries.

They are aware that, especially during the winter months, law abiding customers find it annoying to be locked out of the store and made to walk around the block to the other entrance, and then walk around again in the freezing cold carrying bags full of groceries.

They have been reminded them that a significant percentage of their business now comes from Waterline Square residents and others on the westside and that locking us out is not the answer to their shoplifting problems.

Keeping the Freedom Place doors open until store closing is a small request made in the interest of Customer Service and would only require Morton Williams to extend the security shift at the Freedom place entrance by 2 hours!

So Morton Williams ,  be kind and be smart, because I  am certain that  the cost of fixing this problem will be significantly less then the cost of losing business from a growing number of...

I recently had the pleasure of working with Yamil Vargas, the frozen manager and I cannot speak highly enough about the level of service I received. From start to finish, Yamil was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently and with care.

Yamil's communication skills are exceptional. He kept me informed throughout the entire process, making sure I was comfortable and aware of each step. Whenever I had questions, he was quick to respond with clear and helpful answers, always putting my mind at ease.

What stood out most to me was Yamil's dedication to providing outstanding service. He was not only focused on getting the job done but also on ensuring that I was completely satisfied with the outcome. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence made all the difference.

In a world where great customer service is often hard to find, Yamil truly sets the standard. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-notch service. Thank you, Yamil, for making this such a positive experience! 15 West End New...

To whom this information may interest. I Recently went to this Morton Williams location (15 West End Ave, New York, NY 10023) since I live pretty much next door. I went in to see if you had an item I wanted to buy. Unfortunately your store didn’t have it. As i was leaving, a retailer named Kelly approached me saying “Do you want to pay for what you took?” in an aggressive tone as if I was stealing something. I stopped and I went back to her to explain that I did not take anything from there and I never will take anything unless I pay for it. I felt very embarrassed and offended. It was clear that she accused me of stealing something when in reality that was not the case at all. I even spoke to the manager on duty named Fabiola and she told me that she was going to address the matter to Kelly since she understood the disrespectful way that Kelly conducted herself toward me. However today I went to the store and the retailer named Kelly kept giving me attitude. The incident occurred on September 23, 2021somewhere between...

I just came from the Deli a few minutes ago. I asked for 1/4 pound Boars Head White and 1/4 Boars Head Yellow American cheese. I explained to the guy at the counter these were my requests. He said okay. After going to grab some peppers for the meal I intended to make I returned and noticed he made 1/2 a pound of each instead. He said "oh I forgot" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!!!!!!! All I wanted was to have enough cheese for what I wanted to prepare for tonight. Careless attitudes like this is exactly why I WILL NEVER use this deli at Morton Williams. I wonder if another race of customer asked him for a 1/4 if he would have "forgot" too. Very unsatisfied with this night shift deli guy. I like the store and all the other employees. Very upset something so simple couldn't be done correctly

I don't recommend this food market - not because some of their products are ridiculously expensive, but due to their poor quality. I found mold on the bread once (and told one of the workers about it), and shockingly enough a few days later purchased bread that again had mold on it, and its expiration date had expired before it was sold! They didn't seem to take this matter seriously, so I decided it is appropriate to share my experience. (Edit 1: Attached the picture. Edit 2: Changed review rating from 1 to 2 stars, after a company representative offered a mere $5 refund)
