Ana Luisa Jewelry — Local services in New York

I'm giving them 2 stars as I have bought other jewelry from them in the past and it has held up well. Staff is also quite nice in this location. But I mainly wanted to write about my experience with the permanent bracelet. My friend and I went to get permanent bracelets together and loved them. Fast forward, about three months later, my bracelet has come off. I did not notice when or how it came off but it did and I was unable to find it. For a permanent bracelet you would think that it would stay on for longer. I think that there needs to be quality control done on the materials for the permanent jewelry. It was also not a cheap price tag so I believe the quality should reflect the pricing.

Update: Ana Luisa's customer service has been exceptional with getting my issue resolved! They gave me a replacement bracelet and took measures to ensure that the bracelet would stay put. This location has great staff, and I’ve purchased beautiful jewelry from Ana Luisa prior - however I can no longer recommend them and urge others to be careful with some of their pieces. I purchased a permanent bracelet from them in June and unfortunately it came off the NEXT DAY. The staff at this location was very helpful and welded it back on for me, but unfortunately the jewelry ended up coming off again just a week and a half later when I was in the pool. Considering the price I paid and the promise of durability, I cannot whole heartedly recommend Ana Luisa, as my jewelry did not last more than 2 months.

Update: Ana Luisa reached out to remedy the experience I had, and I was able to replace my lost bracelet with a much stronger one (with a clasp option, which feels even more secure!)
