Stars review in Negative Integers if I could: Like, -10 stars. They say they "want everyone to have a magical experience"... nope, they make it so that (mainly) Only Certain People have a "magical experience.".. Not Everybody. I Call Them Love WHACK Fancy: (When they can break away from gossipping with eachother and discussing their weekend plans or what they did last night) Store Associates will Apathetically look @ (no, THROUGH) you (without ever really actually seeing you) and decide whether you can Afford the store and Belong there or not.
I actually visited the store 2X; (2nd time with a friend who makes 3X's as much $ as I do and blows luxury apt monthly rent type payment amounts weekly on just makeup, underwear, bras, & shoes alone), and the 2nd experience was much worse than the first. Yet they were in a corner smiling & jovial helping ppl who did not look like us. Was as if we were Invisible. There is No Greeting If You Appear "Different" as there is a Lack of Acknowledgement that you are even in Their Space...bec, like, You Don't Deserve It? And "Ok so WHY are YOU HERE in the first place??"
If you are Overtly Ethnic in Appearance+ Body Type/Shape, over a Size 10 just in general, Tattooed, pierced, not young or @ least UNDER 60, and Do Not "Fit" or Look The Part in ANY way you will be Dismissed & Dissed; Overtly, ...without even a single Word or nasty look, but via Simply The Vibe (Reserved Exclusively For YOU even if you have $5,000+ to Spend.) (BUT Somebody Like YOU Couldn't Possibly Have Even $50 to blow, Right?)
(Ain't No Love HERE Unless You're Of Their Tribe. They Gather Near The Front of The Store to make small talk with Oneanother OR The Customers They Feel Belong, and Run Their Mouths About "Last Night" or "Their Imminent Plans" all the while on Ignore & Judge Mode. You will feel Ice @ the nape of your neck As They Smile In Deference To All Who Do NOT Look Like YOU.)✌️.
Cute Stuff (but honestly not all that), and I had $ for a small splurge; my sizes fluctuate btwn 6/8-10, even 12's but I would never BUY anything from an establishment who, by the many other reviews besides mines, has truly BIASED customer service not treating ALL customers the same. Where only CERTAIN People & CERTAIN LOOKS are made to Feel Welcome.
Every now & then they will place a VERY Dark Black Doll in a corner where you can barely see any of its features looks like it is from Another Era/Century for Display in the window or inside the store clothed in something Silly & Frilly; their half-crap, insincere attempt (I suppose) @ Ersatz, truly disingenuous Diversity. You lose potential $ this way (significant amounts HERE due to them being a "luxury chic kinda place" 🤔) but then again, guess whomever owns the franchise...
Read moreEdit: update to my original emotional post. This business and the people working did their best with what they had during this chaotic Stanley launch. Understandably so, the staff was STRESSED! However, they did make a huge attempt to make things right. They did not have to, but they did. I can fully admit when I am wrong and in this situation I was wrong to attempt to cut ties with this business after many years just because I did not instantly get what I wanted. Mistakes happen. People are people and people make mistakes especially when they are stressed and busy. I appreciate everyone there and all they do. Keep making the beautiful items we all adore and thank you for your continued kindness even if at times some of us (🙋♀️) are not so kind.
Attempted to do a sale online for a gift. The associate took all of my info to include my card number. I never received a confirmation or charge. I call to verify there was no issue and was told everything was fine. I call later after still no charge, they tell me my card declined (not for that amount it would never) and she sent a text but I didn’t respond. Now they are all sold out. I verified my info.. to no one’s surprise it was all wrong. Now I’ll have one disappointment kid this Christmas. Love...

Stopped by this store after dining at Marky’s, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, none of the sales associates acknowledged us—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. My friend and I immediately felt unwelcome. She even mentioned having a similar experience at this location in the past, which sadly seems to be a pattern.
What made it more blatant was seeing white customers receive smiles and warm goodbyes as they exited—despite not making any purchases—while I, as someone who did buy a perfume, I wasn’t even offered a basic acknowledgment at checkout. The associate who rang me up was a tall woman who was the coldest- didn’t even look me in the eye, didn’t say a word—not even a “hi” or “thank you.”
The atmosphere gave off strong exclusionary, if not outright discriminatory, energy. For a store selling overpriced, mediocre cottage core clothing, the least they could offer is decent customer service. Would not recommend, especially if you’re a...
