Guess I am just another victim? I purchased a Korg PA1000 Arranger Keyboard from Armen on reverb in which he has amazing reviews on. I happened to find his reviews on Google and was mortified, so I messaged him and asked about whether or not keyboard had a warranty. No response.
If you buy from Armen prepare to play who's fault is it if there are any issues. The keyboard he sold me arrived with 3 keys popped out. I took pictures and sent and only then did he respond back. He immediately said I did it by lifting it by keys when removing the keyboard from the box. Why would I risk damaging a 2000.00 keyboard if I didn't know if I had a warranty? He told me to take it to a repair center and said it was my fault.
The Korg Repair Center assured this is false by lifting they keyboard up by the keys and no additional keys popped out! They also advised me that the only way to assess the damage is to open the keyboard up and told me that they may need to order and wait on parts. Why would anyone buy a keyboard and have to immediately wait to do a warranty repair before playing?!
Seller lied about mint condition and double packaging! Keyboard came in factory box with a piece of cardboard taped to front and back. Seller is rude and interrupted me on phone inside Repair Center. I felt embarrassed having him on speaker phone as he shouted at me despite being polite. He also tried to bully me into a warranty repair or exchange despite telling him numerous times that that wasn't what I wanted. I lost all confidence in the product I purchased. We agreed on a return and full refund. After shipping back the device, the seller is now deducting shipping from refund and I am currently getting reverb.com involved.. Do yourself a...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience! I was first interested in buying a Crumar Seven, which is an awesome piano! When I went on their Ebay site , I saw that they offered $1,450 for and I thought that was a great price considering the original price for it ($2,000)! When I called him, He sad that I could pick it up and I would. As I was scrolling through the rest of their inventory on Ebay, I saw a vintage Rhodes Mark II for sale. As the shop stated, it did not work, it did not include the legs, and it didn't include the pedal. He wanted $850 for it and that was a lot. Why? I did not work and it did not include any of the original key components. When I called him about it, he ignored what I was saying about the piano and said email us and hung up on me. I emailed him and he never answered! When he did answer my email, he told me that I could buy it and I could pick it up at their store. As I was looking at the listing on EBay again, I saw the price went up to $1,005! I was furious because the product doesn't even work and it is not even a desirable year of the Rhodes piano. I called him again explaining the price situation and again, he started spouting out his email info and he then hung up on me. I can't believe this guys costumer service, I can't stand this place....
Read moreI have to reiterate what others have said; Armen is incredibly rude and will talk your ear off while believing self-assuredly that he is helping you. I bought something from him on Reverb (where has has unusually high reviews) and came in for pickup. I asked a fairly honest question about gig bags, to which he talked for an hour giving me a long-winded answer, and passive-aggressively mentioned how annoying it is when customers don't do their research (I had already gone out of my way to try a gig bag in-store for what I was looking for), then, when I had finally found one that worked, he laughed it off saying "Don't tell me, it was my idea", as if he was the one who first thought of bringing a gig bag to the store – the details aren't important, in short, he was incredibly disrespectful and made it feel like I was not welcome in his business. The only reason I put up with his nonsense is because I had already paid for the item on Reverb, but I was this close to walking out of the transaction because I did not want to give this crook of a man business. Be wary of the other reviewers, stay away from Armen's...
