I have really wide feet - 14 4E is my standard size. As a result, it has been difficult for me to find good looking dress shoes that actually fit me comfortably. When I was in NY last June, I setup an appointment to meet with Mario at Awl & Sundry and he did not disappoint! The entire appointment went very well - Mario was helpful and answered all of my questions. He measured my feet and assured me that they would be able to make a shoe that fits me - and if not I can send it back until they get it right. Sure enough, the shoes that arrived a few weeks later fit my feet like a glove. I've since bought a second pair in a different color, and they fit me just as well. Bought a pair of shoe. Received it, was truly happy with looks and finish, but didn’t fit my feet properly. The size were off.

Contacted Awl & Sundry, and an arrangement was made, returned the off-size pair, and received a new pair that not only look good, but fit me good.

The wonderful things that I can really say about the way Awl & Sundry dealt with my shoe replacement was superb. I did not feel that I was dealing with a big corporate or commercial entity. In fact, I felt like being communicating with the owner of the small shoe shop at my hometown, very friendly, no suspicious behaviour, very professional and ease of process.

Unless the design is just not to your taste, I totally recommend Awl & Sundry...

I had been looking for a custom shoe solution for many years. I have small feet and finding shoes is very difficult. Mario and the Awl and Sundry team are phenomenal. I have purchased 5 pairs of shoes and each one are fantastic. After the first pair did not fit properly, Mario patiently worked with me until we found the right size and fit.
