After reading an article about the opening of the Tudor Boutique in New York, it has been on my to-do list to visit it on my next trip to NYC. This happened a year later. Less than a month after the Watches and Wonders event in Geneva 2022, where the Tudor Pro Black Bay Pro was released. I crossed my fingers that the watch had arrived when entering the store since I wanted to see it in person. The first thing that strikes you when entering the boutique is how well it preserves the vibe of the Meatpacking District, where the store is located. The boutique is beautifully decorated with a black and red interior, surrounded by exposed brick walls and wooden details. I was greeted by Erick, the boutique supervisor. I asked if the Tudor Black Bay Pro had arrived at the store. Unfortunately, this was not the case. He then asked me if I was interested to see the new Tudor GMT instead, which was also recently released at the event. Since I like the features and complications of a GMT watch, I quickly said yes. When in Rome, right? Before showing me the watch, my party and I were offered a drink. This was very welcomed by my two nieces (who apparently are less horology interested than me) after strolling the nearby Little Island at Pier 55. After a friendly chat about watches with Erick and Tyler, a visiting trainer from Tudor. I was shown the beautiful creation of steel and gold that is the new Tudor Black Bay GMT. The watch is just beautifully made. The informative description of the watch by Erick was very much appreciated. I even got the opportunity to look at the watch movement from their training kit. The whole experience of visiting the store sealed the deal. During the preparation of my watch, I looked at the rest of the store. There is a decent amount of models from the Tudor line-up on display in the boutique. Enough to get a good understanding of what Tudor has to offer. The Tudor boutique is also connected to the Rolex store. This makes it handy if you ever want to compare watches between the two watchmakers. When I was ready to use the watch later that day, I was pleased to see that Erik had set my local and home-time correctly. I truly recommend a visit to the Tudor boutique if you are in NYC. Especially if you are interested in watches or in need of a new one. If you are going to buy a Tudor watch, this is the place to do it. Thank you, Erick and Tyler, for your excellent service and attention to detail. Until next time. //Robert Sander.

I went during the first week of opening of this store on Thursday. I had previous encounter with Chris McArdle in the Tourneau 53rd location but I found that he moved to this store for it’s grand opening. The most frustrating part of my experience was that I had to call the store a bunch of times just to get a sales associate. I get that they’re busy with clients, but I just wanted an answer lol. I eventually go through to Daniel, and I told him I was looking for Chris, but he was busy with clients. Daniel connected me to Heidi, and she was able to assist me with the time piece I wanted, and she helped confirm it was in stock which got me super excited considering how bad the Rolex stock situation has been lately. So, I double confirmed it was available and I left work early to purchase the timepiece. I biked down to the store on my Brompton, and I had to get someone to open the door for me because of security and I guess they don’t get many cyclists coming into the store to buy a Rolex lol. I left it on the inside, and I was greeted by Heidi 😊 she immediately showed me the watch and it was exactly what I wanted so I just said “ill take it” without hesitation. I was seated and they offered a bottle of water still/sparkling and they gave some Lindt chocolate as well! At some point Chris McArdle recognized me so he took over for Heidi for the remaining transaction time. Where I was seated was pretty nice and smelled of brand-new leather with a embossed Rolex, logo in the leather. The transaction went very smooth, and I was very satisfied with my first Rolex, purchase! I got a basic one, but I absolutely LOVE it! I contemplated if I wanted the fluted bezel but since gold is such a soft metal, I decided to go with the stainless-steel bezel as that would acquire less dings over time. To the Tudor store of meatpacking district. I would personally like to thank Heidi, and Chris for helping make my experience a wonderful one and very nice and easy. I saw both of their names on my receipt so I’m assuming they got commission (I hope!) They both deserve it. I can’t wait to be wearing this watch for a very long time thank you all!

Great experience. Worked with Daniel Abad and looked at numerous watches in August at Tudor and other (Watches of Switzerland, Luxury Malls etc). I recently got a new job in August, had pent up missed birthday present(s), and my wife suggested a watch. I have a smaller wrist and somewhat of a lifetime aversion to watches, but Daniel showed me some items, tried on some. After some comparisons it became clear to me that the Black Bay 58 bronze might be such a cool finish and that 'might fit' perfectly with the 39mm casing, however as a watch amature I was Interested at best, as nonesuch model was on the floor. I put myself on a followup list and that was that. Weeks went on and on. I kept reading about the insane hype of this watch and was very closely looking at alternatives (or even the BB58 925 Silver) however was not interested in the thicker back etc. Daniel was helpful throughout the process and clearly let me know via email communications that there was no movement on this watch which was very helpful when considering alternatives. One day (this last Tuesday) I received a call from Isabel at the Boutique. She said they received a shipment and that I was offered a watch if I still was interested. I quickly found a way to check it out. Upon arrival I was half-expecting to find a ho-hum watch or just another option for other people. When it came out it was SO good looking, so not-overstated, so fashionable... even the bracelet seemed recessed and yet very very awesome. The manager of the rolex boutique came over to assist, removed 4 links to make the perfect custom fit (and instructed on how to make micro-adjustments). Too much text for a google review, BUT this watch is the 1st watch since I have been 7 years old that is Awesome. No comparison to 'smart watches' and so much SUBSTANCE. So much better. Anyway, happy purchase, and GREAT help and responsible offerings from Daniel and staff at the Tudor Boutique in NYC:). Thanks everyone !
