BAPE STORE® MADISON — Local services in New York

I want to express my gratitude to Matthew from this BAPE store. I needed to make an order of a short and tee but due to the time constraint of when I needed it - I knew the BAPE site would not ship on time, and they didn't have the shirt in the size I needed. So, I decided to try the store.

I noticed there are two stores in NYC. And based on reviews I went with the Madison Avenue one. I called as soon as the store was opened and Mathew picked up with great energy. I told him what I was looking for and he found the short in the size I needed immediately. Then came the tee. He found one that fits the style and said he will hold them both for me when I'm ready to pick up.

I couldn't go myself but when I called later that day he said not a problem, to let him know when and he will make sure.

I sent an elderly couple to pick it up (it's for their son and they wanted to) and they shared they had the best experience with Matthew. He was kind, compassionate, and quick to help them.

I must say this is my first experience with BAPE and definitely won't be my last.

As the old saying goes people won't remember what you did for them or what you even got them, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

Matthew made me and my people feel important and turn us to a long term customer (even the elderly couple who do not understand the fashion commented that they now understand this brand specifically).

The clothes are great, but the employees is what makes this Bape location the best! So I needed a first day of school shirt for my daughter, she wants a pink and black Bape shirt. I’m looking everywhere online, it’s sold out everywhere. I call the store, they tell me they got 1 more left, and they’re going to hold it for me. It’s Labor Day weekend, the trains are running bad, I get off the train, and start running for it because It’s 10 minutes to closing after an hour and 15 minute train ride. I get to the store 4 minutes late after closing. I’m devastated because I made it too late. I’m talking through the closed doors I’m pleading with them to please hold the shirt for me for tomorrow, I’ll come back tomorrow. They can see I’m out of breath from running to the store from the train to try to make it, they feel empathy for me, they let me in, I buy the shirt for my daughter, and happy! I will definitely be a returning customer. They went above and beyond for me. Shaq, Jonathan, and Eldin are the best. I have to shout them out, they’re dope! Together, they made sure I had a top tier experience. They were super nice and helpful. I felt very welcomed inside of the store. See at places like this, I’m happy to spend my money. The location is also very clean and organized. I left very happy, with a smile on my face. 10 stars!!! And my daughter is going...

This is my 2nd or 3rd time visiting the BAPE store location on Madison/5th Ave and once again as every time before I had a great experience. When I got there there was 3-4 people in front of me didn't have to wait outside on the line for long, probably 5 minutes at the most (i went around 12:30 PM). The specific shirt i wanted (abc camo) was sold out in my size, actually most of the shirts i asked for in my size they didn't have which i kinda understand as from my experience the adult small and medium sizes and youth 160-180 are usually first to sell out. I was honestly about to walk out but the three workers who were in today, 2 guys 1 woman (forgot their names) were so willing to help me! even while helping other people find items, and they were quick too! he brought out 2 boxes of only just small sizes of shirts and i was so happy with what i found. I ended up leaving with, to my surprise, the Kid Cudi "Moon Man" shirt in a size Small!!!! Im so happy and they also gave me a little box in my bag after i paid, i think its a pin, so cool :). 10/10 experience, 10/10 Customer Service, and the store itself is 10/10 definitely going to...
