Josh & the Birch Event Design team organized our wedding (2 events) in NY this summer. My husband and I are French and when it came to decor/flowers/production, we realized that the difficulty wouldnât only be due to the language barrier... Indeed, our expectations, needs, level of involvement, deep attention to details but also our fears, made it challenging to find some people able to adapt to us. People able to go over the usual âone size fits allâ... We met with many companies, amongst the most popular in NYC and even extended our search to US in general & abroad. After 1 phone call or meeting with each company, we can ensure that the most reliable, consistent, detailed and creative feedback we got was from Birch! They also happened to be the most excited, human and spontaneous... which lead us to choose them, even though a few professionals of the industry criticized them... And what we can tell is... theyâre one of the vendors that delivered the best! Not only they took the necessary time to understand what we were dreaming of (and G-d knows it took houuuuursssss) but they made it with smile, humor, excitement, support, advice... and weâre very grateful to them for the dream they created for us, our family & friends... One last thing that Iâd like to mention, which made a difference with other competitors... during the planning, they had: the honesty to admit when one of their proposal wasnât up to it the strength to tell us âwe donât know how this is feasible, let us checkâ instead of âweâre professional we can do anythingâ the little extra of craziness which creates an event that belongs to you and only you (and isnât always the same event in different colors....) Thanks guys... weâll forever keep a sweet memory of these months with you...
Read moreI was thrilled with the atmosphere that birch design created for my son's bar mitzvah weekend this past january. their staff was professional and responsive. they incorporated my ideas, added their own and stayed within budget to design a stylish friday night dinner in a tent and a whimsical yet sophisticated shabbat lunch in my synagogue's ballroom. friday dinner was served in a white tent on a long table which was dramatic and formal with beautiful white roses, crystal candle sticks and candelabras, clear lucite chairs and elegant textured clothes. it was tasteful, classic and exactly what i wanted. saturday lunch was in my synagogue's ballroom which birch transformed into the splitting of the red sea. birch was able to use caravans with baskets for the food, lighting, tablecloths, plants, sand, and flowers to produce the feeling of crossing the red sea. i was involved in every step of the planning. birch would send me emails or texts with photos of different ideas they had. they were responsive to my ideas and were able to work within my budget. i couldn't have been happier with the results. no one will ever forget that lunch. the birch group is sensible, receptive, and incredibly creative. i would hire them for my...
Read moreI found Birch Event Design on social media and hired them for my sons Bar Mitzvah. It was one of the best choices I could have made. My husband and I arranged a meeting at a new, last minute venue. From start to finish they were professional, very organized, and brimming with knowledge and great ideas. Josh took the lead, found us an outstanding caterer and handled every large and small detail to perfection. I am an interior designer and he listened to my ideas as well- then took whatever vision I had in mind and made it better. Truly a fun experience to work with Josh and their entire team. We were âwowedâ and so were our guests, they are still talking about it. I was able to enjoy my own party and our familyâs special day with no stress or worries- that was a true gift. We canât wait for our next celebration, I will just hand it entirely over to Birch Events, with full confidence. We are very grateful and would...
