First time here and most everyone seemed friendly except the person who ended up helping me at the first register at the back of the store.
I work in the area and it was my first time here. Walk in to the back and am greeted by a person who asked if it was my first time, to which I said yes. They scanned my ID and said I had been there before (?) i was confused and mentioned it was odd i had a profile, but no worries. I asked for a single pre-roll preferably mild to which they rudely said they don’t sell anything mild and tried to push a multi pack.
I asked for a recommendation of what they have as single pre-rolls as I didnt really want a multi pack and said I was open to higher %. They rudely stopped me and said “so it doesnt matter? You just asked for something mild?” They then named something which I end up going with.
While being rung up, I’d asked if they were affiliated with any other dispensaries (because i was just curious how i was already in their system) and she said very rudely “No. You’ve definitely been here before, maybe you dont remember, but you have. Or maybe someone stole your ID, I don’t know”.
Then rang me up and i left wishing I’d just walked out and not...
Read moreBlue Forest Farms is my favorite local dispensary. They have a great selection of products and a knowledgeable and incredibly friendly staff. I’ve had great experiences with Malice, Jonathan & Johnny, which is why my experience today caught me off guard. I was helped by someone named Adwoa and it was a very unpleasant experience. I had a few questions and each was met with a short, curt and unfriendly reply. No smile, no enthusiasm, just cold. It was nothing like any of my previous experiences there and I’m really bummed. She was also the first salesperson I’ve encountered there who said, “Tips are welcome” and she slammed my change down on the counter. I love tipping, but she was so aggressive about it. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’m used to thinking of BFF as a safe space to explore, inquire and learn and today I felt unwelcome.
Just wanted to share an update. I had a lovely conversation with the owner, who was so apologetic. We had a great conversation about the situation and I felt my input was appreciated and she genuinely cared about the feelings of her customers. I will definitely continue to consider them my go...
Read moreI just started to expand into vapes and other products from traditional flower. From the very first interactions I had with the staff, especially Malise, she was absolutely amazing; I knew this was going to be my new NYC spot.
I received an amazing welcome, the place has awesome vibes. Malise helped me out, being the noob vapor I am, she was informative and attentive, and I got a few different new products that I absolutely love. I left on cloud nine and I've been on that cloud ever since. So huge shout out to Melise! Thank you. Thanks to her, I really left more knowledge and informed, truly knowing what I wanted going forward.
Also, I can not forget Adwoa(Ah-ju-wa) and Jonathan, Vincent and Tristian everyone was amazing helpful (I had so many questions)and welcoming, can't wait to come back to BFF.
