Elegant G is the BEST barber in NYC. Trust me. I have that kind of flyaway hair that takes an expert touch to sculpt and tame, and these guys have NEVER done me wrong. I live in Los Angeles and I literally fly to NYC to get my hair done here for important things like interviews, weddings, and outings to places I might see my ex.

I'm seriously not kidding, these guys are worth a 5.5 hour, 3000 mile plane ride to see. You don't need to worry about who you get, just walk in, sign in on the tablet, sit down for 2.38 seconds and get your hair cut by a freaking hair ninja. Not chatty? Great! You won't even have time to tell the barber about your day with how fast these guys will shear you. Super hairy? No problem! My middle eastern husband gets done even quicker than me.

Even though a trip to Elegant G is EASILY worth your first born child (I mean who needs kids anyway??), they only charge 25 freaking dollars for a men's cut (make sure you leave a fat tip -- they WILL earn it). $20 for a buzz if you're into that kind of thing. I don't even drink but they have whiskey and beer on hand!

BEST PART FOR NYERS: This place has a bathroom. 'Nuf said.

All in all, I'm the pickiest person with hair on the planet and when I walk in to a new barber and say "high and tight, three on the sides, 2/5 part left side, natural neckline, like I just walked out of 1943," I expect that to be understood. These guys don't even flinch.
