Unintentionally I arrived 15 minutes late to the play, but fortunately the play was also delayed and didn't have started yet.
Despite this, the blonde receptionist rudely reminded me of my tardiness multiple times and insisted I sit in the "late arrivals" section screaming it out loud infront the whole staff that were at the theatre that night!
Her attitude stressed me out so much that I couldn't find my online ticket, and she didn't give me time to look for it, forcing me to buy a new one.
I know 10-15 minutes late is such a big deal and I apologize because certainly it was not my intention being late, however if me being late was such a deal breaker they shouldn't let people in AT ALL.
I don't go to the theater to be reminded of the time or to deal with rude staff, even when just getting a glass of water, or being humiliated in public about my sitting when there wasn't even a setting number when purchasing the tickets to beging with.
The play started 8 minutes after I was seated. While turning off my phone for the play, a producer hit my head with his key holder, thinking I was taking a picture or I don't know what.
Ironically, someone's phone rang during the play, (very rude) and they weren't reprimanded at all or...
Read moreWe visited on 8/25 to see the show Exorcistic. Long story short, we were disappointed. We arrived early and thought we'd have a drink at the bar during their happy hour. The first 2 beers my husband chose, had empty taps when the bartender tried them. Doors were supposed to open 15 minutes before the show and it was more like 5. The bar area, therefore became crowded and hot.
When we finally entered, we got what were arguably the worst seats in the house. I'm not sure why we couldn't just sit in the main theater. Instead, we were shoved to a make shift seating area on stage right, fourth and last row. The seats were very close and I got to know my neighbor a little too personally. I could hardly see anything due to the tall person in front of me. When the show started, the speakers are angled out to the main theater, so we were straining to hear. I thought the show would be funny, but it really wasn't. The actors are talented, but the show just doesn't "hit". It was so hot and uncomfortable, we left at intermission.
I would come back to this theater, but be sure to request seats in the...
Read moreI’ve been to some shows here in the past and I have to say it’s both a phenomenal experience and overall so professional in production and organization. I’ve never been the one to secure a reservation but after doing so recently had an issue that I didn’t expect to have resolved (completely a mistake on my end). However, I had the absolute pleasure of having Amanda help me out and I’m beyond appreciative. She was so incredibly helpful and understanding and I have to say she’s a remarkable asset to Improv Asylum. I’ve been a fan before but she definitely secured a lifelong client and supporter. Looking forward to helping spread the word about more of the shows you guys put on and your stellar customer service. Keep up the good work. And of course, thank...
