Originally I wrote, “Blueme has the worst customer service ever. I bought a $175 candle at Christmas and the ceramic container was broken in multiple places. There was no way to reach customer service by phone because not only did they not answer, they did not return multiple voicemail messages! They also did not respond to more than five emails I sent. Despicable service; they’re just in it for the money. Don’t waste your time.”
However, the owner reached out immediately to rectify the oversight and went above and beyond to make me whole, so I have changed my review to 5 stars. I truly appreciate the response they gave once they were aware of the situation. I look forward to using the beautiful candle I will purchase...
Read moreOn Saturday, September 26th saw Blueme's Grand Opening Day. This is an exquisite store with a zen atmosphere. Candles and diffusers with aromatic scents created by Mei Xu. What a gracious lady interacting with customers. The prices were mostly $85 and upwards. The candles had clear dome covers on top that one picked up to inhale the fragrance. Too expensive for me, but I smelled two that I liked: Joy with black plum & cassis and Spiritual with palo santo and vetiver. I would prefer the diffuser. Located at 259 Elizabeth street known now as the "Fragrance District" of the Big Apple. Blueme is a beautiful store that is worth entering, buying for oneself...
