Boerum Hall — Local services in New York

I attended a birthday party at the Boerum Hall Venue, and although, the appearance of the venue was beautiful, the level of professionalism and courtesy from the venue owner/manager lacked. I most definitely agree that good festivities must come to an end. I can also agree that there may have been contractual agreements between the owner and those renting the locations that must be enforced and follow. However, I strongly disagree on the demeanor and manner in which the owner/manager proceeded to end the event. Turning on the lights, walking over and pulling the plug from the music station and proceeding to go to every table and begin stacking chairs and removing table clothe while guests were still seated. Not to mention the most displeased look on the owner/manager place and lastly to mention the tense body language. The dismissal of the event was inappropriate and definitely made myself and family feel uncomfortable and offended. Perhaps, addressing the individual renting the venue and asking them to assist may have been a more adequate approach, as they will be the most suited to address guests and assure that they comply with the venue guidelines. Again, beautiful venue, terrible hospitality. Definitely will not be recommending to family...

We held our baby shower at Boerum Hall, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure the event flowed perfectly. They were always on hand to help with anything we needed, which made the day so much more enjoyable and stress-free.

We chose the all-inclusive package, and we’re so glad we did—it was worth. Kevin, the owner, was amazing to work with. He was super responsive and took the time to understand our vision and made sure every detail aligned with our needs.

Our guests loved the food, and the venue itself was spotless and beautifully set up. With around 40 guests, parking was easy for everyone, and the location was super convenient.

Overall, it was such a wonderful experience, and we’d highly recommend Boerum Hall to anyone looking for a great place to host...

My partner and I had our baby shower at Boerum Hall in September. As soon as I viewed Boerum Hall I knew it was the right space for our event - the space is beautiful! Bright and clean, I couldn’t have asked for more. We went with the venue and decor package which included the table centrepieces, table cloths and napkins, cake pedestal, and the custom balloon chiara wall and custom decal indicating our baby’s name, which we were very pleased with. The owners went above and beyond to make sure the set up was just as we needed. The location was also great and convenient - on the L line for our guests who commuted in, and plenty of street parking. I’m so glad we chose Boerum Hall - and let me tell you, after viewing many old and run down venues, picking Boerum Hall was an easy choice to make.
