A little out of my wheel house of Google reviews however I must give Sit Still Kids Salon there just do. We wanted to give our daughter a nice gift for her 3 year old birthday party so we found Sit Still Kids Salon and they did not disappoint. I firmly recommend this establishment for your daughter's hairstyle. They took our appointment last minute and never made us feel rushed eventhough they were technically closed but still perfecting our daughters hair, we really appreciated that and will never forget that , thank you. Each stylist chair comes with an IPad so your little one can watch their shows while the stylist work. We recommend Shaquana 150%, she is friendly, sociable, professional and excellent with children. Our daughters hair came out absolutely fabulous, she even got a glitter tattoo, and she even got a lollipop at the end which was icing on the cake for a great spa day for the little princess. I love Sit Still! It’s a cute space with a lot of things to look at (great for distracting squirmy kids). I’m sure it helps that the owners have two very small children themselves. There are cars to sit in or your child can sit in your lap. Most importantly, though, they are comfortable with textured hair! I have taken my very curly haired son to Crystal and Shaquana, and both were fabulous. They do scissor cuts that follow curl patterns. They are extremely patient, and find ways to make it so it isn’t scary for your child. Today is the first time my son sat by himself for his cut with Shaquana, and it’s absolutely because she gave him time to get comfortable with her. She has a child of a similar age, and she just gets it! Love her, can’t say enough great things. Also, my daughter went for her first haircut today, and it was such a nice experience. I can’t say enough good things about Sit Still! I took my daughter in for her very first haircut today and we had such a great experience. My 2yo+ was a little nervous in anticipation but Shaquana put her at ease in no time. She consulted with me about the haircut and it turned out great. Shaquana was so nice and let us take a ton of photos and videos. My daughter got glitter in her hair + a glitter tattoo… let’s just say she left there feeling like a rockstar. There were so many special little details about our experience but one of the nicest touches was that Shaquana sent us home with a momento (a picture of our daughter with some locks of her hair) to commemorate her first haircut.
