Dr.Ciment, thank you for helping me regain my ability to walk, run, and care for my dogs! The care that Dr.Ciment provided me to turn around my recovery from a prior set of failed surgeries (specifically, bunion reductions performed by another doctor) is unparalleled! He looked after me as both a person and a patient, and helped me regain my health and confidence in my body to perform at a high level. Without his attention to detail and (shockingly) supportive bedside manner, I would have ended up breaking my foot under my prior doctor's care, and given up on nearly all athletic activities. Dr.Ciment agreed to take on my case when next to no one else would (having been recently operated on), and helped me return to my livelihood (running) within 1-2 months of my revisional surgery. Throughout his care, he was very forthcoming about the medical facts of my case, even if it meant sharing upsetting news. After being in significant pain for longer than necessary (I was previously diagnosed with ankle tendonitis from overuse by another podiatrist) I was looking most of all for somewhere close to where I worked, and after reading many reviews for Doctor Ciment and his commitment to advocating for his clients, I took a chance and booked an appointment. He was everything his reviews said and more. My pain and symptoms were no surprise, and his game plan did not involve a series of shots and a brace, he had a more holistic plan for me and I loved that. My final diagnosis of an ankle tendon tear was not surprising. The fact that he was confident and knowledgeable enough to NOT automatically suggest surgery, even though my tendon looked awful was a relief to me. 6 weeks later, post- walking boot, I was feeling so much better than I had been and I was grateful and amazed about the healing process. I just visited Dr. Ciment again after discovering his practice last year. Dr. Ciment and his office manager Michael are both personable and consummately professional. I felt very well taken care of throughout the process. Michael helped me with scheduling appointments, checking my insurance to see if orthotics are covered, and making sure I had the proper receipts and documents for my FSA. Dr. Ciment is amazing - he explains his entire process in layman's terms, which left me feeling well informed. He offers an awesome package deal that includes an initial consultation, a fitting, and a follow-up visit. I've just been fitted for another pair of orthotics, and Dr. Ciment offered to refresh/spruce up my previous pair at no extra charge. With my current orthotics, I ran in my first 5k this year in about 2 decades and I consistently take a 2-hour cardio dance class on weekends. I experience little to no pain, and I'm able to be more active now than I was before I found Dr. Ciment. To top it off, the waiting room and the doctor's office are comfortable and lovely (not clinical), and they don't overbook and keep you waiting. I cannot recommend this practice...
