Exceptional Experience at a Women-Owned Bakery

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a women-owned bakery in my area and I'm delighted to share my amazing experience. From the moment I stepped into the bakery, I was greeted with warmth, smiles, and an incredible aroma of freshly baked goods.

The ambiance of the bakery was charming and cozy, with a tasteful blend of modern decor. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, showcasing the passion and dedication of the women behind this establishment.

The wide variety of treats on display was simply mouth-watering. From delectable pastries to beautifully decorated cakes, the bakery catered to every craving and occasion. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to using high-quality ingredients, many of which were locally sourced.

The customer service was exceptional. The friendly and knowledgeable staff were more than happy to guide me through their menu, offering recommendations based on my preferences. Their genuine enthusiasm for their craft was contagious and made my visit even more enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the taste! Every bite was pure bliss. The pastries were light, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The cupcakes were moist, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and adorned with intricate designs that showcased the bakers' artistic skills. It was evident that each creation was made with love and expertise. I loved its so much that I went ahead and purchased 24 cupcakes for my Moms birthday dinner! The cupcakes were half vegan and half regular.

In conclusion, my experience at this women-owned bakery was truly exceptional. From the warm atmosphere to the delightful treats and outstanding customer service, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this bakery and supporting these talented women who have created a true culinary gem in...

It was the grand opening this weekend, and the place was pretty busy. They had mostly cookies, brownies, cupcakes and banana puddings if you want a treat right then and there, but I think they also have a lot of larger cakes to order. They also sell party supplies like candles and napkins: they know what they're doing. There's not much indoor seating available as the space is very narrow. I was there for one thing: the vegan balsamic coconut cookie. They had run out of them when I got there, but I was told that it would be out in 5 minutes. Good customer service, very friendly people, and I got a warm fresh cookie! It's nice to know they are baking them throughout the day. It was disappointing that the vegan flavor was smaller than the nonvegan ones, and at that size with tax it still came out to $7. I also couldn't taste any balsamic at all. Despite these shortcomings, it was still one of the best cookies I've had. So tender, sweet, and flavorful. I definitely want to try the butter pecan cookie next. One small detail I hope they fix: the front step to their door is not really visible, I almost tripped and I saw a lady actually trip. They should paint it a bright color so...

We were picking up a Brooklyn Blackout cake and we walked in and the smell of the cakes was amazing, everything in the case looked delicious and from there we walked out with a Nutella cookie, apple pie cheese cake, carrot loaf and a pumpkin Whoopie Pie. The Brooklyn Blackout cake was amazing and everyone loved it, was moist, rich chocolate flavor if you are a chocolate lover you will be in heaven with this cake. The pumpkin Whoopie pie was so good the pumpkin flavor was just right, the carrot loaf was so good fresh, saw the shredded carrots and the cream cheese frosting was delicious. The apple pie cheese cake was so creamy, the Nutella cookie was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Erica was decorating a beautiful princess cake, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend and I...

I tried their carrot cake which was delicious (see the last photograph). The icing on the cake greatly enhanced the eating experience. On a different day, I ordered the apple pie cheesecake (see photograph), I hoped for a recognizable flavor combination of two typical desserts. Instead, I felt that the cheesecake added very little flavor to the overall dessert. As a result, I felt that I was eating a bit overly sweet apple pie. The bakery's signature outside/sidewalk feature is a chained yellow bike (pictured). The bakery is between 2nd and 1st avenues on 78th street, and is closed on Mondays. They have a sign outside the bakery promoting their, often mentioned in write-ups, banana pudding. They offered it in one size only when I was there, and that was in a large soup size cup, for $15.

This place has the greatest chocolate chip cookie on the entire planet. I cannot overstate the level of perfection. Texture is what you dream about - not necessarily crunchy on the outside but it's like the perfect combination between the crisp (NOT crispy, I mean crisp) / chewy bite that is the perfect amount of carmelization. Then the inside is that incredible, soft bite on top and throughout, with that slightly crisp bottom that melds right into the chewiness of the center of the cookie. Perfect balance of dough and chocolate. Finished with a beautiful sprinkle of sea salt on top that actually stays on the cookie and is present in every bite. I have no idea how this cookie hasn't gone viral yet - it is better than every chocolate chip cookie I have had in NYC. Perfect cookie.

Popped in late on a Saturday evening looking to try a new spot. This place is SO CUTE inside. The gentleman behind the counter was super helpful. I liked that he took the cake off the stand and took it to the back to cut it in order to not make a mess. I got one vegan gingerbread cookie and a piece of their coffee cake w cream cheese dressing. I’ve only tried the cookie and it was a lot harder than I expected, not in a bad way per-say, I just expected the center to be soft. Tons of gingerbread flavor though without being too much. Also an important detail, when I bit into the cookie, the sugar morsels on top did not flake off. They were baked well into the cookie so it wasn’t messy. So far, I’m impressed!
