Sampling their delectable chicken, spinach and bean empanadas and savoring a cup of their flavorful coffee left us thoroughly impressed and utterly satisfied. But my favorite is their Pan de Bono, it's such a flavourful bread, I always get one.

I was reminded of exactly why I love this café when picking up some pastries today:

• The coffee is delicious and everything is made with attention and care. • The décor and music make me smile every time I walk in. (When is the last time you can say that about any chain eatery?) • The women who own and operate the café are super friendly, always greet you with a smile and are clearly very competent at running a business. (Did I mention everything is spotless?)

Such an amazing addition to the UES!

First time we visited, we wanted to try out some of their gluten free baked goods but they were cross contaminated. We mentioned that, and the next time we went, they had separated their case and labeled items clearly!!

They also sell Nadas empanadas with a dollar markup, which is well worth not having to travel to Greenwich.

Lastly, their drinks are amazing too, try the Colombian hot chocolate if you’re looking for...
