Carl Hansen & Søn Flagship Store — Local services in New York

Saturday, November 1st, 2025, I commuted in to Manhattan early, preparing for a Tik Toker Comedian’s show, a Persian-Canadian.

Social and Pedestrian conditioning took places in my path directing me to exit on 3rd Avenue and 63rd? Street. In my path was Le Petit Parisian, Carl Hansen & Søn and Citizens Bank on E57th Street.

This is how I discovered the brand and shop on E57th Street.

Monday, November 3rd, 2025, I entered Carl Hansen & Søn on E57th Street and simultaneously was greeted by Aaron and found the Kitchen Accessories of my interest. Aaron welcomed me to explore both floors of the shop, Ground Level and Cellar Level.

Aaron and I approached the Kitchen Accessories section where I stated I’d like to purchase the Danish Wood Plate before being encouraged to explore the glassware in the back of the Ground Level. A senior citizen straight couple entered the shop where the elderly man took a seat to position himself to see the unused shopping bags. I noted that the Italian Manufacturer of the Glassware priced aggressively when Danish Manufactured goods in boutique are more exotic and aren’t priced as aggressively.

I explored the Cellar Level where Aaron offered me a complimentary Aqua Panna bottle of water to drink while I shopped. I stumbled upon and expressed interest in the Cognac Colored Leather Apron while Aaron was double checking and contrasting the sizing of the Danish Wood Plate he retrieved from the stock room compared to the one I expressed interest on the sales floor.

I returned to the Ground Level of the shop where I observed the beautifully patterned and colored Afghan Tapestry Rugs when Aaron approached me confessing that management can offer the Cognac Colored Leather Apron on display for sale.

After agreeing to a transaction for the plate and leather apron, Aaron stated he’d have to package and bag my purchase. In the meantime, I took a seat where the elderly man sat, he approached and his wife stated she would wait outside. I shared with the elderly man that I see the perspective he had when he sat there earlier, seeing the unused shopping bags.

Aaron approached me with a Bank Card/Credit Card reader where confessed my total. I inserted my card and opted for a text receipt.

Aaron then retrieved the shopping bags containing my purchase, as he approached I raised both arms directly in the air in celebration, Aaron unhanded the shopping bags containing my purchase and I held them high with pride.

Aaron retrieved a business card and encourages me to contact him.

As I exit the shop, Aaron chivalrously opens the doors as I exit.

My wife and I made our way to the flagship store today. We just wanted to peruse and were greeted by one of the consultants, Hiroko.
