This is a cozy spot in the corner of Soho, perfect for sitting and chatting. Unfortunately, my experience was disrupted due to an issue with my order and how it was handled by the staff.

The barista made a good coffee, but it wasn’t what I ordered. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or explaining the situation, he initially denied there was an error and didn’t suggest offering a refund.

When I requested a refund and asked for the correct charge, he claimed he had charged me properly. To confirm, I asked for a receipt, and without saying a word, he handed me one showing a partial refund for the incorrect charge. However, there was no explanation about how the refund was calculated, which only added to the confusion.

After going back and forth to the counter three times, I still didn’t receive clarity. I later discovered I had been overcharged but was refunded a lesser amount. If he had fully refunded me or provided a clear explanation at the time, it would have been a more considerate way to resolve the issue. I recently visited this café, attracted by its charming decor and cozy ambiance, hoping for a pleasant coffee experience. Unfortunately, the reality was far from my expectations. The coffee served was cold and had an odd, funky taste. My friend's flat white was excessively bitter, making it hard to enjoy. Although the prices were okay, the service left much to be desired. When we politely requested the barista to warm up our drinks, we were met with an unprofessional and somewhat rude response. As a coffee shop owner I always prioritize customer service and I usually don’t review places because I know it hurts businesses, but my visit was a horrible experience. Came to this place very excited to try their coffee and toasts with my family but was disappointed with their customer service.
