About 5 months ago I injured my neck and back through lifting weights incorrectly. The pain in both areas were constantly on my mind.

I tried getting massages and I also bought a handheld massage device. While both the in person massages and electronic massages were able to identify knots, tension, etc, I’m 99% they made no progress on the cause of my pain and likely just moved around my knots and inflammation. I worried that this pain would never be solved and would become a part of my life as it only seemed to worsen with time.

I decided to research acupuncture, something I had never tried before, and found Michelle’s practice with tons of reviews of Michelle healing neck and back pain, and so I decided to give it a try.

I’ve now done three acupuncture sessions with Michelle, where we added cupping to the end of the sessions, and I have not felt this good in months. Spry if you will!

Michelle is incredibly talented and detail oriented. She pressed along my back to find tension and pain points, and revealed to me that when I told her I was mostly feeling pain in my upper back and neck, that I was actually also feeling pain in my lower back. She was right. It wasn’t until after my first session, when my pain dramatically lowered, that I could actually identify where the remaining pain was in my back.

I cannot thank Michelle enough for her work! I hope that this review reaches other first time acupuncture patients (or seasoned!) who are in need of...

I first came to see Michelle about 6 weeks after a pretty gnarly ski accident, and I was trying everything with no relief (physical therapy, stretching for an hour plus everyday, massages, etc). I was still unable to fall asleep without advil PM and was waking up at 4am in excruciating pain every night. The night after my first session I slept through the night and felt hope that I wasn't going to be hobbling around like an old lady for the foreseeable future!!

Michelle is so generous with her time and attention. She uses about 2-3x the amount of needles of any acupuncturist I have been to. Not to mention she uses the tiniest (aka the most expensive) needles, so it feels just like a tiny rubber band snapping against your skin.

I swear she has super powers the way she can predict exactly what spot needs to be punctured (even if you have no clue yourself!). I think one of the most obvious examples of the immediate benefits of working with Michelle I noticed is my stomach starts rumbling like crazy as soon as she places the needles -- the increase in blood flow to the digestive organs regardless of the area we are working on and the way my body clicks into "rest and digest mode" is SO cool and makes me a true believer in Michelle's magic.

I could go on and on, but the TLDR is...

My mom has been to quite a few acupuncturist but Michelle is by far THE BEST of them all and the results were seen and felt immediately. My mom was experiencing hot flashes and lots of pain that would keep her up all night. Also feeling very fatigued and tired. We tried all sorts of remedies and massing but nothing helped, but after just two sessions with Michelle almost all of the symptoms have completely reduced or gone away. Now she says the hot flashes are completely gone and she is sleeping way more restfully through the night. 10/10, I will be recommending all of my friend and family and anyone else that are looking for acupuncture to come here. The two sessions made a huge difference and if it wasn't for the fact that we live a 2 hour drive away, we would go every week ,because the treatment was just that good and effective. Michelle is very knowledgeable and knows exactly where all the pain is just by looking at my mom. Michelle is simply the best! No other acupuncture service can compare in my opinion.
