I came to this New York Coach location to shop, customize, and ship my selections back home to California. However, what I received in the mail, was not customized.I also wanted to order in store because I was celebrating my 30th birthday in the big apple, and shopping for a purse in store allows free customization of the tag that comes with the purse. I asked for the tag to have gold metallic thread and for the numbers 30 with a golden statue of liberty on it as well to commemorate the special trip. I specifically ordered in store and had it shipped home so as to not damage the product in my luggage while traveling home. I called 3 different occasions and spoke to 3 different managers and associates, Zee, Jameel, and one other manager I forgot the name of, and no one can seem to resolve the issue. I've reached out to Coach customer service, and without a confirmation order number I cannot be helped by them either. Since the order was placed in store and not online, I do not have a confirmation code, only the copy of the receipt with the transaction number as well as all the other details a receipt has. I did not receive help from in store employees, or online services. Would not recommend customizations unless youre present to ensure completion, i would not suggest shipping home if you are traveling, I would not suggest having expectations for this store because you might be...

Read moreI recently visited the store and had an experience I’d like to share. I believe the sales associate assisting me was named Mindy. I asked her about two wallets, including their prices and available colors. Initially, she provided incorrect price information (I confirmed this on the official website) and said one of the wallets didn’t come in a different color. When I showed her on my phone that the official website listed another color, she left—presumably to check—but didn’t return. After waiting for 15 minutes, I approached another sales associate who kindly tried to help. She mentioned she thought Mindy was assisting me and went to find her, assuring me she’d be back soon. Unfortunately, Mindy didn’t return. Instead, I saw her enthusiastically helping other customers while I continued to wait. Feeling confused, I sought assistance again from the second associate, who ultimately helped me complete my purchase. Living just eight blocks away, I had expected a quick visit, but the entire experience took over 90 minutes. While I’m hesitant to jump to conclusions, I couldn’t help but notice that all the other customers Mindy was assisting appeared to be white, whereas I am Asian. It’s worth mentioning that Mindy is also Asian, which adds to my confusion. I appreciate the kindness of the second associate who helped salvage...
