I went to this Crossroads Trading location earlier today. I had to sign in twice to sell clothes here, which was weird. I never did that before in any stores I sold in. The second employee to assist me was a White woman. I am assuming that she’s the manager. She makes me sign in again and tells me to comeback in 15 minutes. She’ll call me by then. Within 5 minutes, she calls me, and says “Sorry, we cannot take your items.” I said, “Sure thing.” Took my items and left. No explanation as to why my items weren’t able to sell. My family and I believe that it had to do with me selling women clothing and I am a man. Here’s the thing, the clothes I had with me were my younger sister. She gave me the authorization to sell on behalf of her. If that’s the case, then this woman’s assumption of me selling stolen clothes is inaccurate. Then, she was polite to the White lady before it was my turn. She even said a “Goodbye and have a good one!” I am not going to this location to sell again. I’ll make sure to tell my friends and family to do the same.

Disrespectful, rude off putting towards customers. When asking simple customer questions. When shopping here you can't have less then 2 masks and no breathing room on the face. They also discriminate against people with disabilities and color even going out of their way to be less helpful to you. They charge high prices for very worn out clothing and even stamp a surcharge on all items you buy. I definitely don't recommend this place for shopping as a thrift store.

Great place. I love the neighborhood! Many cool thrift shops and eats. Very professional. Went to sell some items, and it was definitely worth my trip 💰. Super easy sign in, and not a long wait. Parking is a bit challenging, but I had someone wait outside. The whole transaction (sign in, wait,& payout) took about 1 hour. Staff is nice and they work fast. Thanks again Crossroads for a great experience- see you soon👌

This is the very first time I entered this store today with my 53 year old mother that suffers from high blood pressure and could not breathe with ease because the temperature in this facility is EXTREMELY hot and they did not have air conditioning, Nor did the manager give us helpful understanding and comprehension and the workers that are HIGHLY arrogant and disrespectful on so many levels towards the elderly and with people of disabilities!!!! While the worker that is a very Tall obese man and chocolate colored skin told me and my mother to "wear the mask or GET OUT" and threated while we were explaining to him that we had our masks on but because of this hot weather the medical light blue mask we were wearing would slip down while me and my mother were conversating and me and my mom would put them back on and we were trying on the sneakers we were going to buy while me and my mom had to BEND DOWN causing severe back pain due to my condition that I havent yet mentioned I suffer from Scoliosis and Lumbago and they're were NO SEATS availiable to sit Nor did they have many customers inside and we were told that we were giving the other customers the "corona virus" by the worker meanwhile we have our vaccinations already done before we even entered the store and we were harrassed constantly by the manager who is a tall 5'6 caucasian women with a very big build and short brown hair and we were also threated to get thrown out and told "to never shop here again" over and over again with a very raised voice each time she spoke so the small amount of customers can hear our dialogue. This is very heartbreaking to explain to the public because we were mostly keeping our 6 feet distance away from the other customers that were there because they were not many! and they were not close to us !! The clothing were very nice but most of the sneakers were very high priced and very worn out!! we didnt have much selections choosing very good quality sneakers!! Please be cautious of shopping here because the people who work here are very mean and are highly intruding of personal well being in a very harmful way by constantly coming towards you with aggression!! I will never enter this store again because this is very embarrasing to live through knowing that this has happened to me! I do not desire this to happen to anyone else this is why I'm reporting my personal experience and I hope the owner reads because it is unacceptable for this to happen...

TERRIBLE!

I had sold there a few times and it was always pretty decent. Last time I was there was earlier this year. I had a great time, the young man who bought from me was very nice and knowledgeable. He was not condescending or rude.

This time around, selling there recently a few weeks ago. I went right at opening. There was 2 people in front of me. They had 2 buyers. The 2 people head of me did not have a lot. It took almost an hour and a half to get to me! With TWO buyers!! Probably because the staff was having personal conversations with each other. And not doing what they were supposed to be doing. Everyone was annoyed with them.

They were also discussing publicly in front of me and other customers other employees at the store and discussing an employee who just got fired and laughing about it. They were talking about their Halloween costumes, everything else but their actual work. The manager a young man with bleached blonde hair was talking about how much he loved Julia fox! Eeeww!

This is why it took so long! When I finally got to sell, a young man was somewhat nice but dismissive and lazy. Was opening complaining about the job. Did not know anything about fashion or brands. Every item he had to ask someone what he should do. Another young woman with short blonde hair was super rude and acted like she did not want to be there.

This was one of the worst experiences. They purchased a lot of stuff, as always (I have great stuff) but the laziness and attitudes of the employees was so off putting, I do not think I...

Selling experience

My selling experience was overall positive. I brought a very large IKEA bag on a Wednesday afternoon around 4PM. It took over an hour for them to see me. I figured it would take a long time since it was the middle of the day and there were a lot of people ahead of me. You join the waitlist through a qr code when you enter the store. They will text you so you can leave your stuff there and come back when it's your turn. I decided to sit in the small waiting area and wait for my name to be called. I figured on my own that I should bring good quality clothing that are in season. They will not buy worn out or out of season clothing. I think because I had this in mind they bought most of my stuff. The brands they bought from me were for love and lemons, lazy oaf, pinkyotto, rat and boa, ragged priest, black milk, killstar, vintage, and a couple more. I'm taking one star away for the wait time and their pricing. They can't really help the wait time because of their limited space and the amount of traffic they get. You should get there before they open or not long after if you don't want to wait forever. They offer more store credit than cash, but I wish the cash was a little more. I brought three pairs of new ragged priest jeans that still had tags and they gave me around $7 or $8. I saw them on the floor for almost $40. Great deal for whoever buys them because they were double that when I bought them from their website. Next time I will probably sell my stuff with tags on something...
