Dauphinette — Local services in New York

As the other reviews have noted, this place is not worth it. Especially do not order from overseas!!

I ordered a tracksuit to be delivered to the UK and paid a reasonable shipping fee. Suddenly I’m hit with a mailed invoice for an ‘import fee’ of £91 pounds on top of what I’ve already paid - when I ask Dauphinette they said I should have looked into the T’s and C’s on their website about not being responsible for extra import duty fees. I’ve never had this issue before ordering from the States - but they really need to mention this at the checkout and not hide it away.

Also the import fee was based off a way higher price than what I paid for the item, so the company’s error cost me a ridiculous amount of money for nothing. When I asked about this, Dauphinette just repeated their line about them not being responsible. How many other customers have they screwed over with this?

Finally the delivery arrives and, no surprises, the quality leaves a lot to be desired, as shown in pics. Frayed threads all over the entire piece. Boo, you...

This is such an adorable boutique. I could really feel the designer’s heart and creativity in every detail. There were lots of handmade pieces made with real flowers, and even a wall featuring dragon fruit and kiwi designs—so imaginative and whimsical! It’s a really special and unique shop.

Just walking around inside made me happy. What first drew me in was this bug-themed dress displayed in the window. It was made with real insects and real flowers—what a wildly creative and talented designer.

That said, when it comes to practicality and pricing, I have to be honest—it’s not very accessible. If the prices were more affordable, I’d definitely be happy to support them and...

My first order from Dauphinette was online. I ordered a pair of earrings which were made from real daisy flowers . When I ware them out, not only my friends, but also a lot of strangers asked me about it. I feel so proud, just like the founder Olivia said, I put the garden on my ear! Later on, I bought some of the dresses, last Christmas, I got 3 turtleneck shirts as gifts from my husband! I especially love the short top called bleeding hearts, I brought it to anywhere when I traveled.
