When I came to write this review I noted that the website says 8pm but the sign on the door was never updated to reflect that. After loading washing machines with my clothes and putting money on my card, I was told at to remove my clothes from the washers because they were already closed. After asking about the sign on the door, I was told that last wash was at 8 and they leave at 10. To be fair, it was about 8:40 by the time I had loaded the washers and cleaned up some oxiclean that spilled but I didn’t think it would be an issue as the wash time is 25 minutes and dry time is 30 minutes. I would have been finished and gone at 9:40 at the latest. I wish I’d been told when I arrived with a cart full of clothes, before I had wasted detergent and paid the establishment $20 that I would not be able to wash my clothes. I have been using this laundromat religiously since the washers in my building stopped working and have seen prices rise and fees increase exponentially in the last few months. This last interaction has just been the cherry on top of a very sour sundae. I will use up the rest of the money I loaded on my card tonight and then find another laundromat in the area. The dryers always leave my clothes damp unless I put them for 45 minutes anyway. I’m good on it. I just realized in my rush to leave, I left the card. Good...

Make sure you have all of your articles of clothing because they lost one of my tie dye shirts and never found it. Did not bother to write a review about it until I went in today, and was surprised to see the owner for the first time. After telling him to dry clean my clothes, he said do you mean wash and dry, and that's obviously what I meant but this man wanted to go on a rant about having common sense about the differences between dry cleaning and washing/drying - which was super UNNECESSARY. Also when he printed out the ticket for the drop of service, he never handed it to me. I told him to give it to me, and he said to check my pockets with disgust (which was the first thing I did), then said "wow you lost it already?" Then went on to have a little girl moment and say "whatever, I'll print you another one, I can print however many more you need me to" in a sassy tone. How is this place going to treat a customer like that, even coming from the owner? Avoid this place, there's many laundromats in Harlem, go there. This man...
Read moreI've been coming here for years, but I don't recommend it. The manager, who I've spoken to and is helpful, is not on site most of the time, and the other employees are frequently rude. They don't care about their customers and it shows. Beyond that, there are five small washers. For years, I've noticed my clothes weren't coming out fully clean when I would use them, and realized that there was only cold water going to them. Then, probably once customers started complaining, they put signs on three out of the five saying cold water only. No attempts have been made to fix this. Previously, four dryers were employee use only, but more and more are being taken up for employees only. When I ask to use them, one of the employees tells me no, even when she is not using them. Furthermore, the lower dryers do not work properly and most people don't use them for that reason. They don't dry well, AND they will burn your clothes at the same time. The only reason I am giving two stars is because they are open on...
