I made an appointment with Dr. Todd Schlifstein in hopes of getting a concern of mine addressed. I had a rhinoplasty done a few years ago but unfortunately the surgery left a small indentation on each side of my nose which did not give me such a natural look, as well as small scars around my nasal folds. I was nervous since I wasn't sure if my situation could even be addressed to begin with. When I had my consultation with Dr. Todd, he told me that 1) he can diminish my scars with a Pro Fractional Laser treatment and 2) he would be able to fill in the small indentations with a filler (Belotero) in order to give my nose a more harmonious look. The way Dr. Todd and his aesthetician Maribel made me feel throughout these procedures was incredible. I felt confident that I was dealing with competent and knowledgable individuals. Maribel, the aesthetician, was so helpful, she prepped me before the doctor came in to perform the procedure, which made me feel extremely at ease. While the doctor was doing my treatment he was very reassuring on what he was doing, why it will make a difference and what the outcome would be. Evidently after the procedure I was swollen and red due to the pro fractional laser but I knew the outcome will be worth the wait. Now that I am healed and the effects of my treatments are showing more then I was even hoping for I wanted to take out some time to THANK everyone at Fountain MedSpa! From the sweet receptionist that helped work around my availability to the other aestheticians who were concerned and made sure that I was feeling well after my procedures. I recently went to Dr Todd Schlifstein office for a PRP facial (Vampire Facelift), and so far i'm very satisfied with my results and visit. I just turned 34 and my skin desperately needed that youthful glow and lift. Arriving at the spa I was super nervous about the procedure, I wasn't sure what to expect. The receptionist were friendly & helpful. They had Maribel the aesthetician help ease any of my concerns, She was fantastic. Maribel explained the procedure and asked what my skin concerns were. I told her and she customized the facial for my personal issues. She suggested I also get my neck injected to help with the fine lines. In general, the procedure took about 30 minutes from start to finish; however, prior to the injections, a numbing solution was placed on my face for approximately 45 minutes. The procedure consisted of having blood drawn and put in a machine to separate out the plasma, which contains the platelets that hold the growth factors that stimulate collagen and rejuvenation. Once the solution was prepared, the doctor made several injections throughout my face. I felt very little discomfort with the pressure from the needle, the numbing cream definitely helps. It took a week for my face to look back to normal, it was well worth it. My face looks so refreshed and rejuvenated. The fine lines and wrinkles have improved at least 90%.
