I visited this Whole Foods to return an Amazon package while traveling in New York, and it turned out to be incredibly convenient! The return process is on the second floor, where self-service machines and helpful staff make it quick and easy. Upstairs, there’s a small Kimaka coffee bar and plenty of seating areas, which was a pleasant surprise in such an expensive area. It’s perfect for a quick rest or even getting some work done. The first floor has the classic Whole Foods setup with a wide variety of products and plenty of checkout counters. While it’s not the tidiest, it’s impressive for Manhattan, where spacious places to sit and eat are rare. You can grab food from the first floor and relax upstairs. For a grocery store in such a busy area, this location offers a great shopping and dining experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re staying nearby—ideal for shopping, resting, or even working for a bit!

Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe I purchased this GT's Peach Nectar Coconut Yogurt from Whole Foods Market (Lenox Hill location, NYC) on July 1, 2025 at 6:21 PM. I live only a 5-minute walk from the store and opened it as soon as I got home. What I found was revolting — the yogurt had clearly spoiled. It had overflowed the jar, was fizzy, warm, and foaming, and had a strong sour odor. The expiration date on the lid says 07/14/25, so this product should have been fresh. I can only assume it was left unrefrigerated for a long time before hitting the shelf. This is a serious quality control and food safety issue. For $7.69, this is completely unacceptable. I expect a full refund. I’m extremely disappointed and will be far more cautious shopping here in the future.

Whole Foods Market on 69th Street is a convenient spot for quick grocery runs. The store is clean and well-arranged, offering fresh produce, snacks, and everyday essentials. Since it’s a smaller-format store, the selection is more limited, and popular items can sell out quickly. Checkout can get crowded during peak hours, but overall it’s a handy option for nearby residents.

Incredibly excited about the opening of a Whole Foods in my neighborhood! While the store is very small, they do offer a nice selection. However, there are several staples that typical whole foods offer that are not offered here and I hope they are open to feedback about changing their offerings. 1) They do not sell 1% organic milk, yet have all varieties of non organic milk which makes no sense at a Whole Foods. Too much of the milk display taken up with conventional milk. Whole Foods shoppers generally are looking for natural/organic. 2) No deli department- perhaps they could sell pre-packaged same day sliced deli meats sliced elsewhere. Pre-packaged turkey, even if organic or hormone free, is still highly processed looking and not fresh. 3) They do not offer hot rotisserie chickens. Again, I understand they have no room to cook them there but they could get them delivered from another store and keep them hot in the hot food...

This branch blew my mind. It was very busy but the lay out was perfect. I may be the like minded people that shopped here. But everyone was conscious of others and I didn’t have to say ‘excuse me’ as everyone manouvered or moved quickly. It’s super compact with higher shelves that I recall but well stocked and very reachable for my 5’6”. It was almost 20:30 on a Monday. Customer service was closed but the lady at self check out helped me. The lighting was also a factor - none of the harsh supermarket lighting. It was fresh and clean. I’ll probably do a main shop here as I usually go to Union Square. Great addition to the neighbourhood. I popped in for cream, juice and a small birthday cake. I left with some lovely fruit, donuts and body cream in addition to the above mentioned items. This branch deserves all 5 stars. I forgot my cell phone at home...
