It's places like Emily's Pork Store that make New York City, that make Brooklyn, so special. Great people. Family owned. 50 years. Unbelievably authentic and passionate about doing things the right way. These guys provide the best of the best and not for some social media kick. It's so the neighborhood can enjoy the beautiful Italian culture and form a community around that. We gotta keep institutions like these around another 50 years! I ended up eating two sandwiches (splitting half of each with my buddy). First, I asked the gentleman behind the counter to whip up whatever type of sandwich he was feeling. Anything. He prepared a delicious chicken cutlet. The freshness was revitalizing. I went right back in after finishing it, and since the first sandwich was so good I wanted to try a second one. This time asking for a prosciutto sandwich specifically. I was especially in heaven eating that. I personally prefer pork based sandwiches, but you cant go wrong with anything here. Those spicy peppers though - cant beat em. Not acidic whatsoever. I wish my home smelled as good as this shop does. What a place.

Fantastic family owned specialty store, focusing on Italian goods and meats. I’ve purchased items to make stuffed manicotti, guanciale for carbonara, as well as charcuterie & cheese. The star of the show for me is definitely their Italian hero sandwich- it’s on a fresh baguette with a whole assortment of Italian meats, fresh mozz, and homemade roasted peppers (both spicy and sweet). Best sandwich in the neighborhood!

Came here for lunch one day and got a sandwich: hot soppressata, hot peppers, mozzarella and oil & balsamic vinegar. Very delicious! If you aren’t sure what to order, you can also ask what they recommend with your chosen meat.

As a boy l would go to "Ms. Emily's" (That's what I called it back then) & get Bread and cold cuts. There was an elderly lady who always worked the counter or was in the store. I presume it was Emily herself. She always had a pleasant demeanor and smile. One day l commented on something she was eating and said "wow that looks delicious what is that?" She promptly gave me a sample to take home and that was my introduction to Antipasto. Man from that moment on I was hooked. In fact though I am not Italian the experience made me an Italian food connoisseur. Went to this establishment recently(Decades removed from my childhood, l moved away long ago).l brought my family as tourist to my old neighborhood. I was pleased to see it still a charming well run family owned establishment. I hghly recommend it. The food is till fantastic and the family working the counter are still...

Its a great Italian pork store. They have the absolute best in store made sausage in the Tri State area and his sandwiches have so much meat for a every reasonable price no one could still be hungry after eating one and the price Forget about any where else you get half for the price. Poeple come from all over the Tri State to shop At Emily's Pork Store I drive at least 2 hours there to do my shopping. The owner Jerry and his friendly staff are generous people they lets you sample their products befor you buy it He has so much authentic Italian products you think you were back in Italy and they also custom cuts meat to your preference .I would recommend that you stop by and experience it for yourself.
