I'm truly heartbroken about my experience at this salon. I read all of the reviews and thought I could trust them to solve a temporary, wash out (demi-permanent) solution for my roots. I had communicated multiple times prior to the appointment that I wanted a temporary fix that would simply wash out over time because I had spent the past 3 YEARS growing my hair out for a 'natural and no longer needing to be maintained' look. Fast forward to my appointment when the stylist started mixing the product in the back and had already begun rubbing it into my scalp. After they put it in my hair, I got a strong waft of bleach...realizing they had put bleach in my hair. There was no way at this point to remove what had already been put in my hair and I kept asking, "this is temporary right?" And the stylist assured me it was. Now, several months after this devastating appointment, my roots, as expected, have grown completely in and the dye did not fade as I had asked for when scheduling my appointment. They look terrible and this entire appointment mistake cost me 3 years of natural hair growth. I have absolutely no solution for how to fix this naturally without adding more bleach and my wedding celebration is in 2...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife got a Japanese straightening from here and they gave her a keratin treatment instead and have not made any effort to fix it. She called and texted and got no response for weeks. When they finally responded they told her that she got the correct treatment and that the Japanese straightening is not permanent (even though on the website it says it is and it is supposed to be permanent). The treatment lasted about three months which is just a waste of time and money. The most frustrating part is that when she went she specifically asked if they were doing a Japanese hair straightening and they said yes. Now they are trying to act like they canāt do it on dyed hair? Then why didnāt they say that before she paid them for it? Why donāt they offer her a refund? She has had it done for the last ten years with no issue on dyed hair. It is not supposed to be done on highlighted hair there are no restrictions on dyed hair when the color is added. The worst part of being out hundreds of dollars is their attitude that they donāt even need to fix it and that they didnāt do anything wrong. Good luck to anyone who keeps going to this place. They obviously like doing keratin treatments since thatās all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got a keratin treatment and a haircut at this salon about two weeks ago. Naturally, my hair is long, thin, curly, and extremely frizzy; itās always been a challenge to manage, making my daily routine quite a hassle. Upon my arrival, I was promptly seated within just a few minutes. Eric was an absolute delight - kind, engaging, and great at making conversation while he worked his magic on my tresses.
I must say, I am over the moon with the results! I had mentioned to Eric that I wanted to retain a touch of my natural waves, and what he achieved surpassed my expectations. My hair now boasts a lustrous shine, a silky texture, and is completely free of frizz, all while maintaining a gentle wave (as seen in the photo taken two weeks post-treatment).
Not only is Eric incredibly skilled, but he is also efficient and highly professional. The prices here are extremely reasonable - I paid $250 plus tax using my credit card, and additionally, I left a cash tip (a steal for my hair length!). I am eagerly looking forward to my next appointment in a few months, and I wholeheartedly recommend this salon to one and all. Donāt hesitate, go and check it out...
