Experience NYC — Local services in New York

If you’re looking for a professional tour of NYC with all the expected amenities (water, experienced guide, etc.), continue your search. We took 3 private tours over the course of one weekend including two, 6-hour daytime tours and one, 3-hour evening tour. We were surprised to find our private tours did not offer snacks or even water. While Max was very pleasant, his inexperience showed throughout the tours as we crisscrossed NYC multiple times only to find our desired sites were closed or only open during certain hours (Trinity Church, NY Public Library, etc.) that didn’t coincide with our guide’s plan. Consequently, we failed to see all of the dozen or so sites on the list we had given them weeks in advance. I tried reaching out to the company and was told a manager would return my call. It's been nearly two weeks and I have yet to hear back...

Max. Was. Awesome. This was our first trip to NYC, and it definitely won't be our last. Max took us to all of the best stops and we had an absolute BLAST! It was 100% stress free! We walked around Central Park, ate at a fantastic high end restaurant (Quality Bistro), strolled down Times Square, and more! It was an amazing experience! We plan to come back to NYC this Fall and I will only use Max! You absolute can't experience NYC the way we did unless you book a private tour! We never had to worry about parking, we didn't have to get stressed trying to navigate through traffic, and we didn't have to waste anytime planning the trip! We have been back home in the UK for a couple of weeks now, but lasting impressions of our pedicab tour are still strong. Ali was a brilliant tour guide. He was attentive, informative and really knew his stuff. He was fun and smiles throughout. He would help me on and off the pedicab and covered us up with a blanket to keep us warm when we kept hopping on and off for photos. Central Park is gorgeous and we bought the 2 hour tour of the whole park. We would definitely do this again and would request Ali again.
