If it wasn’t for Dawn, I wouldn’t have tried going to the NYC location because I was apprehensive about the reviews posted here. However, I decided to try selling my items and my experience was nothing like the negative. Setting an appt was a little difficult but I received help from Dawn. There is a max amount (10 items) you are allotted to bring in for same day offer. And here is the thing, you have to be open minded that even though it’s new and used only once or never, it’s still lost its depreciation. Think buying a car, once you drive it off the lot it’s no longer worth that amount even if you want to sell the car within an hr. The only items that you will get more it’s items that are of high demand investments like Hermes Birkins, Kelly’s, Goyard and Chanel classics. Front desk staff amazing! I checked in (it is best to set an appt in my opinion). I walked to the desk that checks in your items who told me about the qty policy and helped me pick items that would possibly be of more value, and since it was 10 items it would be a bit of a wait which was not a problem, we went downstairs to try the amazing food court (total hidden gem!!) Zackary approached us and my friend and I fell in love with him! His customer service was top notch and someone fashionphile should be using as an example to emphasize their brand! Zackary was very accommodating and patient. He actually took the remaining items and told me if I was ok with it that they can upload the pics and it would take about a week or 2 and have funds available, which I didn’t mind. So after all said and done, the quote they came back to me, I was very happy with. Again I was open minded and understood the value whether it was new or not. I highly recommend to get store credit if you are interested in getting a bag as they give 10% more. Had a great time, easy process, and appreciated Zackary’s help and his service! Oh and I can’t fail to mention how funny and great the front desk...
Read moreFinding Fashionphile in New York City turned out to be quite the adventure! The building is rather nondescript, with no signs outside to guide you. Once you locate the right place, you must take a special elevator to reach the correct floor. Upon stepping out, you're greeted by a friendly and stylish team who instantly elevate your mood.
As you follow a long hallway, the excitement builds, and finally, you catch sight of a beautifully arranged display of colorful purses. The ambiance is chic and luxurious, making the waiting area a lovely spot to relax before browsing. The staff were incredibly accommodating, assisting us even without an appointment, which was a nice touch.
Fashionphile boasts a curated selection of unique vintage pieces, especially from sought-after brands like Chanel and Hermes. The prices are fair for the quality and rarity of the items, though they tend to be on the higher side for secondhand designer goods.
Once we selected the 3 handbags we wanted to see, one Hermes and 2 Chanels, the process to actual see the product was painfully slow, which detracted from the overall experience. To enhance your visit, I highly recommend making a pre-appointment to streamline your shopping. Overall, it's an okay experience set against the backdrop of stunning, one-of-a-kind handbags that make it worth the visit. I’m a huge fan who has bought many handbags online. I find that buying online is quite as effective as to visiting in person. I suggest to call and ask any staff member specific questions and extra photos to ensure you get what you are looking for. ** if you are looking for handbags by brands like Gucci, YSL and LV I would look directly at them in their official site/store before buying preloved ones. Fashionphile’s prices tend to be only a couple hundred less if not higher than the actually...
Read moreBecause Jennifer and front desk ladies. I give you 3 stars, if not I will give you 1 stars !!
On 2/10 I went to Chelsea show room. The Showroom Buyer Jennifer was off on that day. She helped me setup a front desk drop off appointment at 11am.
When I got there, I told the front desk lady I need to do one of the drop off for store credit. So a long black hair guy came out to assisted me and he can’t even pronounce my name right. When I told him again, I’m doing 2 things for buy out and 1 store credit. He told me that I have to wait for 20-40 minutes. Because I have to go to work at 12pm. I told him I will do the store credit one in another day. Then, he said I have to go back to the front desk to do the buy out drop off and he will start working on the store credit one (which I don’t understand why, but I thought he was trying to help me process it as soon as possible. Jennifer was really helpful last time and she did it right away)
I went to front desk again, after all done I went back to him. He was silent and didn’t look at me. I waited for a little bit and asked him what’s next step. He said I have to wait for 20-40 minutes. I said I will come back another day. He went to another room to talk to someone and came back told me the same thing again with a weird attitude.
Tonight went I checked my submission status, the item I try to do store credit got declined. I’m sure is him asked the person in another room to decline my item, because I don’t want to wait.
I been doing business with FASHIONPHILE since 2021. Online customer service and the office are always nice & helpful. I’ve never dealt with any...
