Get there early if you can, but even I was able to visit a lot of galleries just getting there at 5 P.M. [I'd an appointment that took up the bulk of the afternoon.]

Although there are entrances on both 27th and 28th for this building, the two sides are not well connected so it's easier to reach the galleries from the entrance on 27th.
