I recently visited Ferrari Manhattan to take a look and take some photos of some of the cars, but had an unpleasant experience.
Shortly after arriving, a security guard approached me and demanded I stop filming, insisting he had warned me before, despite this being my first visit. Iāve never been here before, so he mistaken me for someone else.
Despite the confusion, I apologized and switched to taking photos as permitted. However, just a few minutes later, the same guard returned and told me to stop taking photos as well, without providing any reason. This is quite random, but I do understand theyāre a private establishment and can inform me of the rules, or just tell me to leave at any time. So I stopped, as instructed, and just proceeded to look around. The confusing parts is: moments ago he clearly said only photos, no videos, and now he says no photos either. He then mentioned: me being inside checking out the cars may lead to others feeling interested and coming in too. This was odd⦠Why have a showroom with a nice selection of Ferraris, to look down on people coming in to see? If theyāre so unwelcoming, and ONLY want customers, why have a dedicated, open showroom?
Feeling unwelcome, I decided to leave. From instantly assuming me as someone heās kicked out in the past, to changing the photography/videography rules, I found this quite unwelcoming. Even just to look at the cars, I felt I was doing something wrong. Pity for such nice Ferraris being here. If you're a car enthusiast looking to see some cars, I recommend considering other dealerships in Manhattan that offer a more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a Ferrari owner, I expected a welcoming and professional experience when I visited this store on Thursday, 21 August 2025 around 11:00 AM to request model-specific information using my vehicleās VIN. Unfortunately, the interaction was the complete opposite.
The supervisor/manager I dealt with was rude, uptight, and unhelpful, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of offering assistance, I was told coldly and in an unprofessional manner to ādownload the appā for information. This contradicts what I later confirmed directly with Maranello, who advised that Ferrari owners should be able to walk into any Ferrari dealership and receive such support as part of the brandās service standards.
The individual I encountered appeared more focused on flamboyant attire than on providing knowledge or service, and seemed to know very little about the cars themselves. This behavior does not reflect the Ferrari image or the level of respect and professionalism I have experienced in Italy.
This level of customer service damages Ferrariās reputation. I strongly recommend that management take a closer look at how this store is being run and how clients are treated. Ferrari represents passion, heritage, and excellence ā unfortunately, none of these were reflected in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been visiting this location for many years and have enjoyed all my past visits.
However, it has changed and NOT for the better. We visited today only to be not greeted or even given a friendly hello gesture.
The Ferrari personnel were in a room, I walked in to greet them. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Well, the only friendly greet my wife and I received were from the security person. He was very nice and took the time to speak with us. He even brought us some bottled waters.. My wife asked a Ferrari associate but was blown off!
As a Ferrari owner and someone who has spent thousands of dollars at this location purchasing Ferrari merchandise I can tell the new should of remained like the past where the Ferrari personnel were happy to see you, greet you and smile.
Ferrari please listen to your owners which have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with your product.
