edit: To the owners response, interesting that you didn’t comment on the fact that you don’t allow your employees breaks! Seems illegal, no? They deserve better. I don’t support businesses that mistreat their workers. Considering how I saw you treat your workers in the store in front of customers, I don’t feel comfortable supporting this store. The workers themselves however are courteous, efficient and do great work. I hope they get a raise.

While perusing a while back I overheard a worker and the owner talking. The worker suggested to the owner that she could put up a pride flag since she wanted the store to attract a liberal clientele and the owner said she would never do that, that wasn’t aligned with the store’s values. Safe to say I didn’t go back. It also seems the workers aren’t allowed breaks here, and the shifts are 8+hours…! Would love for some of the values and practices here to change! A wonderful boutique, with an assortment of great pieces and fantastic customer service. My wife and I stumbled upon this little gem of a store while shopping the Smith St./Court St. area of Brooklyn. My wife fell in love with three sweaters, purchased one on our first visit and then we came back just before our flight to pick up the other two.
