Foot Locker — Local services in New York

I wouldn't even give this store a star but that wasn't an option. Customer Service lacks really bad at this store. My boyfriend and I walk in, no one welcomes you when you walk in, after 15mins one lady just asked is there a shoes we would like to try. I said not right now. Then when we saw something we liked I asked another girl for a size for prestos, she said no half sizes in prestos with an attitude. So we got an 11. The shoe came out, dirty white prestos. W. Black dirty skuffs. They didn't fit. After we went to return the shoes we purchased yesterday. The girl who first spoke to us said at the register. "They want to return". The same girl who got us the prestos walks up and says "where did they get it from?", (Not like it matters because it's the same company) She then Looks at the shoes and goes "We don't even have those" ( I said yes, you do, its in the front). She then takes the shoes and walks to the back with them, Comes back and says where is the coupon for the receipt? (You are only supposed to take the shoes off the counter when you are sure of a return. Do you not know what shoes you sell at your job?. It's a sneaker store?.) I said it's in the other shoe box. She says we need the coupon to do the return. I said I have never heard of that. Where does that say it on the return receipt, in the fine print. She doesn't reply. Then I said can't you look into the v.i.p number and void it there. she said no with an attitude, rolled her eyes and looked at me like I was speaking alien. Overall nasty attitude, not pleasant. I then called another footlocker not far from there and asked her a question about the returns and etc. She was very nice and explained the policy and said they are able to return it and they can void that coupon thru the system. I have shopped at footlocker for over 15years and to go thru this aggravation for a return is ridiculous. Overall the girl was nasty, rude and I would never want that kind of attitude, working at a costumer service/retail store. I feel that coprate should send some spies in and re-evaluate who works for their franchise, Because I was disappointed and disgusted by the way she spoke to us, Like we were some degenerates scheming for a $10 dollar coupon. The reason for the return was because online was cheaper by $40-60 dollars per shoe. Still bought from the same company. I'm not one to criticize how someone works. But today's experience was not...

I had an absolutely disgraceful experience at this shoe store on May 6th when attempting to collect my refund. Despite being assured I was eligible for a refund by their customer service, the saleswoman at the store flat-out refused to process it. Her attitude was dripping with contempt, making offensive faces the whole time that made me feel like a massive inconvenience just for requesting what I was rightfully owed. To add insult to injury, when I asked for help from her colleague Chandler, he put in zero effort to resolve the situation. He seemed completely indifferent to the degrading treatment I was receiving. The lack of basic respect and decency from these employees was truly appalling. As if that wasn't bad enough, the saleswoman then had the audacity to accuse ME of "having an attitude" for insisting on the refund I was entitled to per their own policies. The sheer hypocrisy of her berating me for my attitude while she behaved so abhorrently was mind-boggling. I have never been treated with such blatant disrespect as a customer before. The contemptible conduct of these employees is an utter disgrace. Needless to say, I will never shop at this store again and strongly caution others against exposing themselves to such despicable customer service. Horrible experience. Placed an order for pick up. Received a confirmation email the order is ready for pick up and the store is open till 9pm on Friday. I got there at 8:25 and the store was already closed. I called customer service and they did not assist me at all. First they said the store closes at 8:30 until I told them to check google, the foot locker website and the email I received which all confirm it’s open till 9pm. He completely lied to me and just hoped it would work. They would not allow me to cancel the order, reassign it to a different location that has the shoe in stock or provide any sort of inconvenience perk. The manager was completely useless and dismissive. My only option is to travel to the same store again tomorrow and hope they are open during the hours they state they are. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. They have the same prices as all other major chains so I would recommend going...
