Not sure where to start...from my first walk in I wasn't sure how exactly I wanted to frame some personal and meaningful mementos I had. I'm building out a gallery wall. Each piece had a different size and different coloring, and I wanted to get it right but didn't know where to start!
Kayla took over an hour to look through every piece, listen to me explain the personal significance, and pick out different mat options to fit the photo. I had not considered some of the options that her eye picked out, but when I saw them I knew they were great. She was very patient and funny and kind. I was so excited to get them back I couldn't wait, but they actually took the time and care to make them perfect. When I came to pick them up I knew it was a totally worthwhile investment.
I brought two more posters to complete the wall in - and this time Stephon helped me frame and pick out matting. Also let me mention that at no time did anyone I worked with push any extras, I actually pointed out a plaque and wanted to add it on. They just took the time to give me feedback on what would work better, and provide options to get my opinion.
In the end, I have so many framed treasures that I cannot wait to put on my wall. You can tell when you walk into the store by the care and attention that the people working here care deeply about the result, and wanting you to be happy with it. Thank you thank you thank you. I'll return for my framing...
Read moreI was excited to try Framebridge and had an overall less than mediocre experience. They first did a really shoddy job with a float mount for my screen printed poster…the edges were visibly jagged, and they cut into the edges of the artwork. Their customer service policies around fixing the issue was good, they took the work back, but it was another two weeks until I received the print back again. The framing still isn’t perfect, but it’s better than it looked the first time. The actual customer service of the associates in the store could have been more caring and thorough throughout the process. I definitely recommend the service and quality of materials I’ve received at KC Arts & Custom Picture Frame just a couple blocks down Court over this experience. You get what you pay for…shop local!
I will add, a year later I gave them a second try just because framing is so expensive and their services are so cheap (for a reason) and I 100% regret going back! They completely messed up my framing and had to redo...
Read moreThis is my first online review. Because why would I do that? Why would anyone do that? But I love this place. It’s shocking to me how much I love it. I’ve never loved a corporation. I’ve never even liked one. But I love framebridge. And this particular framebridge is my framebridge - my local. Every time I walk in there, it goes exactly how I want it to go. And I walk in there a lot. I pick out a frame with Stefon, who is probably as good at his job as anyone in any field could be. He’s the Michael Jordan of start-up framers. But friendlier. And when I’m done, I walk home feeling better about my life, and having framed a nice photo or two with a reasonable lead time for shipping. Lately I’ve been bringing my wife. And the other day we brought our newborn. I want to raise him in a world as pleasant as it is within those four walls on court street. Where it’s always 67 degrees and bright, and the frames come in every color. Life is long and hard. Framebridge is...
