Food is so good here. Good prices too! Really recommend the falafel sandwich, anything lamb, and the Avocado smoothie. This place is more of a takeaway place, because it’s small and only has a couple of tables. The service could be improved— sometimes the food takes a while, sometimes it’s really quick, it seems like it just depends on who’s taking your order. They’re always friendly, but just seem disorganized. I’ve ordered takeout a couple of times, and I’ve gotten odd service to say the least. One time, I ordered a sandwich to pickup, and the person on the phone hung up without asking my name or giving me an ETA. The call lasted about 20 seconds. Also, please improve the way takeout fries are packaged! They came piping hot in a greasy paper bag that was already starting to fall apart by the time I got it. For the record I live a few blocks away so delivery takes probably 2-3 min. Aluminum foil-wrapped, maybe? I do really like this place and I want to see them do well in these hard times! Highly recommend giving this...
Read moreThis is a rare gem. I was almost turned off by the size of the place because I was looking for some place to sit down. The actual restaurant is small and reminiscent of a takeout spot, but luckily I asked and showed us to a table outside in the sidewalk space next door, so he was able to seat my party of four. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Indoor dining doesn't really exist here, so hopefully you'll have nice weather when you visit. Expect European style sidewalk dining. Plenty of shade is provided by umbrellas at each table. The food is excellent. Falafels are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The seasoning of the food is on par with the best Mediterranean food that I've had in NY. Vegetables are very fresh and portions are good. There's even a kids size falafel sandwich for $4, which is a great deal and truthfully even enough for an adult. One additional perk was that the owner provided pastels for my kids to draw on and...

Darna Falafel may be small in size, but it packs a punch where it matters most, flavor. Tucked away from the usual bustle, this unassuming spot is a hidden gem for falafel lovers. Their falafel wraps and sandwiches are hands down some of the best in town.
The star of the show, of course, is the falafel itself, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, herb packed goodness on the inside. Every bite bursts with freshness, and it's clear that quality ingredients are a priority here. The wraps are generously filled with a mix of crunchy vegetables, tangy pickles, creamy tahini, and of course, those perfectly cooked falafels. The balance of textures and flavors is spot on, making each wrap not just a meal, but an experience.
Even though Darna Falafel is a small establishment, the service is warm and welcoming, giving it a personal and...
