Tropic Deli & Grill — Restaurant in New York

The people and the food are fine. I object to their deliberate posting of inaccurate prices for lunch specials. Do NOT believe these photos on the outdoor signage - you do not get a soda with your sandwich. Every item is actually one dollar more than what is posted outside. Your $9.95 sandwich + soda is actually a $10.95 sandwich with an additional $1.25 drink. On 3 occasions they've explained to me "oh we just haven't changed the sign yet". But they did recently update the sign to increase prices - a step in the right direction. But they also then increased the pricing on the menu board INSIDE, so that dollar discrepancy remains. It's not exorbitant, but it is deceitful and deliberate. At the counter they look at me like "You're really going to argue over a dollar and a soda??" ...

I love tropic deli and grow so much they have so much varieties and I love how they support the vegan community with all the vegan options with vegan desserts vegan sandwiches add more love smoothies and juices and I love how I could make my own if I don’t like any of the options or I could replace Any ingredient and they have a big variety of chips drinks candy and they also have necessities paper towels, toilet rolls, tied toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, and they also have medicine and a lot more milkshakes and bowls never knew about this place. This place is absolute garbage $8 for a medium iced coffee waste of money coffee taste so bad I wouldn’t recommend anyone here. There is plenty of other places across the street that sell better quality food. Anyone that gives this place high ratings obviously never been to literally any other store in nyc the food and utensils here have a bad odor of human musk it’s disgusting almost threw up.
