Where do I even start? This is the worst Russian manicure/manicure I’ve ever had. As someone who’s been getting Russian manicures for the past 6 to 7 years, I was very disappointed. First, I had an appointment with another girl, but she no longer is there so I had my appointment with Regina (the owner), however the appointment booking system still has the other technician available. While I was texting a friend Regina had already shaped down my nails within a couple of minutes so I didn’t get an opportunity to tell her that they looked crazy. I came in with long rectangle nails and by the time she shaped them in a couple of minutes, I had stubby pointy nails. I asked for almond. I told her I didn’t like the pointyness and she said she’ll shape it at the end (odd, usually end of session nail shaping isn’t a thing unless it’s just the edges due to gel attachment to skin). The gel application was sloppy and thick. After applying the base layer she didn’t use any tools to further buff and prep the nails as you do with a Russian manicure. The nail color was applied quickly and didn’t even fully cover my nails. The application is thick and bubbly. Also worth mentioning I got cut a few times and bled and my hands still hurt currently. I literally said ouch out loud and pulled my hand back. I’ve never come to a salon and had my cuticles look worse than before I got them done. My other concern was also the sanitary element of this place. I usually see Russian salons open a new packet of supplies but the supply packet she used was already open. Very concerning and overall I would never return here. I did not further voice my concern because I do not want to get any further cuts nor do I want to have another technician do my nails based on the other reviews and waste more time for another disappointing result. Do NOT come here for a Russian manicure. This is not a real...
Read moreI really tried to avoid leaving a negative review, but I’m now left with severely damaged nails and feel compelled to share my experience.
I visited this salon based on a recommendation, but from the moment I walked in, I was concerned. The space felt extremely unsanitary—nothing appeared to be cleaned properly, including the tools and workstations. Despite that, I decided to give it a try. I was already sitting at the table anyways. I should have left.
I needed a previous gel manicure removed and a new one applied. The technician used very harsh tools to remove my existing gel (which had been gently applied at another salon just weeks earlier), and the process was painful. I didn’t speak up at the time, but I wish I had.
The new gel was applied carelessly—it was thick, uneven, and poorly finished. Within 24 hours, it began peeling, forming air bubbles, and lifting from my nails. I briefly considered returning to have it fixed, but ultimately chose to visit another salon instead.
The second salon was shocked by the state of my nails. The gel had been sloppily applied over my cuticles, and the removal process was so rough that my nails are still suffering. It’s been four weeks, and they are breaking in the middle, painfully thin, and cracking one by one.
While the owner wasn’t the one who worked on me, this was an incredibly disappointing and damaging experience. I hope this feedback encourages the salon to revisit their hygiene practices and staff training, because no one should leave a nail appointment in worse condition than when they arrived.
This order was $60 before tip :( I gave 4 stars—not to hurt a small business—however, this experience was disappointing and really shouldn’t...
Read moreI won’t do my nails here unless I get Baya every time. I had Claudia and my nails lasted no where as long, the shapes were different, polish lifting after 10 days - and this was a Russian manicure. Baya has your pedicure lasting minimum 3 weeks easy - no chipping, no nail breakage - lesson learned.

It’s so irritating how a tip is expected nowadays as if it’s NOT a discretionary option. My nail tech was Leyla, or at least that’s what I think her name was. A White Russian with brown hair.
She wasn’t nice, she was unnecessarily forceful, and she complained about things that I don’t believe were that serious. I’m in the service industry and I’m an extremely easy-going customer. My nails are crooked. They’re not painted all the way through. It’s like every time I choose to stand up for myself for an $80 service. - I’m made to feel like the bad guy. It’s not right and it’s time that servers realize that tips aren’t mandatory and if they want a tip, they should give service that warrants one.
I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but she had a lot of nervous energy. She kept dropping things and sucking her teeth and things of the sort. The only reason I tipped her is because of this which is so incredibly backwards but I KNOW they are the type to assume no tip becuase of the way I look - when in reality the job and customer service are hell.
I miss Baya. Where...
