Extremely disappointing experience.

I went shopping here today and was helped by a female cashier wearing black-frame glasses. I bought a lot of groceries — eggs, milk, several drinks, sausages, bread, and frozen dumplings — basically things that can’t be carried without a bag. When I asked for a bag at the end, she had already finished the transaction and said she couldn’t add one anymore. She told me the bags were $2 each and asked if I had cash. I only had a few coins, no bills. Instead of noticing that I obviously couldn’t carry everything, she coldly told me to use the store’s small produce bags to take my groceries home. I was alone and only had two hands — that was impossible. Then she even blamed me, saying I should’ve asked for a bag earlier. She completely ignored my situation the whole time and showed zero willingness to help. Fortunately, another staff member eventually helped me and found two bags (one of which had no handles, making it really hard to carry). One star for this cashier — she took my money but didn’t take responsibility for her job and even blamed the customer for her...

One star review is generous. If you want decent fresh groceries, treated like a human being, cleanliness and hygiene, and not have your PAID groceries hold hostage, do not come here. Floors are constantly wet making it a fall hazard, lack of moral and ethics, and inability to dispute customer complaints professionally and a lack of accountability. Employees and so-called “managers” refused to remove an item off the purchase, claiming that it is impossible, and FORCED us to walk back home to bring back a mere $2. In addition to spray disinfectant spray at a HUMAN, is a lawsuit itself. Employee and so-called “managers” are on a power trip and refuses to dispute civil matters like adults. with so many asian supermarkets in chinatown, THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST one with horrible, animalistic, rude, inconsiderate employees. better to support the others that do treat people as humans.

they will hold your items that you have ALREADY PAID FOR hostage and demand that you pay for everything in your basket despite you asking them to remove items, over a mere 2 dollars.

the cashier will also assault you by SPRAYING DISINFECTANT SPRAY at the elderly. this establishment should be embarrassed and ashamed for handling the situation that could've EASILY been alleviated had they just removed one item so we would have enough cash for everything else. the managers, cashiers are complete and utter trash, go support the better cleaner, supermarkets...
