Watch out! Shady return policies! I'm so bummed! I tried to make a purchase and the cashier accidentally rang up a couple discounted items at full price... when she told me I had to call a phone number... it sounded fishy! That's not retail policy At ALL for NY ! She got the manager on duty which was a young person with light color eyes and bleached dreadlocks and he was instantly annoyed and passive aggressive at my existence and inquiry and fully refunded my purchase without even knowing the full situation bc ended up having to inform him of that. I told him I was bummed at the whole experience bc I've been shopping here since they opened and for the level of passive aggression, I got the total heeby jeebies! All he had to do was offer a refund of the discounted merchandise amount... not reject my entire purchase! Which HELLO! Why are your cashiers telling people they have to call a phone number to rectify the store's error? Why wasn't a refund of the inaccurate price an offer in the first place? The guy offered me to keep the item I wanted to purchase for free, but honestly... for that level of passive aggression from being an inconvenienced customer from the jump... all of the joints I would have rolled and smoked from that tin would have had his icky poo bad juju all over them... no thanks! I'll only start shopping here again when this human no longer is in management bc yikes. Such bad juju... not a friend to a brooklyn (well, queens ny living in bushwich the past 16 years) native at all! Buyers beware!
In response to the owners response... from a customer's standpoint, I feel that a sincere apology and correction from the beginning would have been much more valued and appreciated versus trying to giving me attitude and attemlting to give me a free $16 joint tin. My respect as a human is worth more then $16... When I remarked "so I'm not even gonna get an apology?" The manager walked away rudely as if they didn't feel I was owed one.l as they shrugged their shouders. Perhaps management should be trained how to respond to valid customer issues instead of trying to make the customer feel in the wrong for pointing out an error π£π€·ββοΈ or maybe train cashiers proper refund protocol when overcharging people instead of offering a phone number to call to avoid this situations in the...

You have everything you need from me on Instagram where you've ignored me since Thursday and deleted my comment.
I have emailed you called you and messages you on multiple forms of media. You have my: credit card statement, my receipt and all the information you need.
Maybe youre disorganized or just messing with your customers for pleasure but either way it's a waste of time.
I want my refund.
For the record here is FULL review of my insane experience with this store:
Hello - I called your store to place an order for pickup of a candle on October 17th. I gave my credit card information over the phone and had an Uber messenger pick it up for $30. When I got the a package it was missing half of the product - no candles were included.
So I called your store back and the manager said she would refund me for the inconvenience - by charging me $1 for the product. I then send another 30$ Uber to pick it up.
I gave your manager my credit card information to process the refund and she said it was alerting her that I purchased with a gift card which is not possible, because I have never been to your store in my entire life. I have been waiting for my refund since that day.
Today I called and spoke to the same manager who said I authorized her to issue the refund as a gift card which is a) not true and b) not what we agreed on. To be honest the whole experience has me scratching my head.
Can someone please help figure this out and be over? I'm out like 60$ on a candle at this point and it's...
Β Β Β Read moreAmazing stuff, but terrible costumer service, very disappointing.
I stopped by tonight looking for a birthday gift, and 2 of the people who work there didn't stop following me. I was never asked if I needed help or if I was looking for something specific... nothing, so it's obvious those weren't the reasons.
It was very uncomfortable and random because I've been there multiple times and I don't think it happened before. At the beginning I thought they were also costumers because, literally, they were just walking around looking at the items, but then I noticed that every time I touched something they were very close to me; and it got pretty obvious when I was in the back area, and one of them got out of the counter and just stand next to me pretending was organizing or looking at something. I walked away to see if it was only in my mind, but no, this person started to follow me again. And right after that the other person across the room asking me if I wanted to pay for a necklace that I had just chosen, I wasn't standing at the register or anything to do that.
At the end I only bought the necklace because I really liked it, but didn't wanna keep looking for the gift because the whole fan's club following me...
I found all of this very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, more for a place called "Friends". I also work in costumer service and also worked in retail when I was younger, so I'm 100% sure there're other aways to keep your store safe without compromising respect...
