Grattan Studio — Local services in New York

I recently used Grattan Studio for the second time in about four months. The first was for fun: portraits of friends to reacquaint myself with studio photography. The second I was being paid to capture headshots for medical professionals. Both experiences went off without a hitch. I found the studio to be spacious, clean, and stocked with all the working gear I required. That its self-service initially made me nervous (what if I needed help?), but there were no issues and both shoots turned out great. The price was also right at $50 per hour. Grattan is a great setup for self-sufficient photographers who don't want to (or can't) pay for expensive studio rentals. I look forward to shooting there again...

This an incredible studio!! I definitely will book here again in the near future. Elena was kind enough to email me how to get into the studio and also how to connect through bluetooth!! It was an amazing space to use for my photography needs and I was impressed of how spacious the studio was.

Lots of equipment is at the studio already so it gave my photographer a lot to work with. My photographer and I had a blast! I was able to use quite a few props for my shoot as well for no extra charge & my photos came out...

Unfortunately, this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I had an emergent matter that led to having to cancel my studio session. I had called to kindly ask for credit and that I would schedule another time within 3 months, NOT A REFUND. The manager was unwilling to work with me.
