I am still shaking from my second visit at this location. I had a 11/23/24 2:50 appointment booked and checked in on time. I continued to the washroom room and waited in the waiting area. I was waiting a little longer than my first visit, but I know itās Saturday so it must be a bit busy. An Asian man comes in next then a white woman shortly after. They were both seen with 3 minutes top. The receptionist then comes back to me to tell me that they are having ātechnical difficultiesā and they donāt have anyone to service me. That there mustāve been a mishap in scheduling. She stated that they can try to get someone to come in by 3:30 but theyāll try their best. I declined because of how I was just passed up not once but twice and despite being first to check in-.She then proceeds to tell me that Iāll get credit for my next visit. But I didnāt want to make a scene to I reschedule my visit for next month. As I drove home I just felt sick to my stomach that I could face this type of unfair treatment in downtown Brooklyn in 2024. I guess I didnāt pass the paper bag test to get serviced today. I called on my way home to cancel the future appointments and my so-called āmembershipā which I was informed that they donāt handle at that store that I would be contacted by support. As I write this in my car from outrage-rest assured l never give this location and/or company anymore...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to be a member, but cancelled as I felt like most of these services are ones I could have done at home and switched to Aveda. However I have a wedding coming up and I wanted to get dermaplaned by a company I was familiar with. I went in two weeks before my wedding and my esthetician advised to wait closer to my wedding to dermaplane and advised light exfoliation and extractions instead. I rebooked for today with the hope of dermaplaning, red light and anything that was on the more hydrating side. Well, when I went in, they said their policy was to wait 2 weeks between treatment and cancelled my appointment. My original esthetician (Ti'Ahna) was either extremely misinformed or didnāt care and wanted me to go through with my appointment with her. Now Iāve wasted my time and cannot get this treatment done in time. I also wasted $90 for no reason. These guys really donāt know what theyāre doing and Iām so glad I cancelled my membership- what a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe overall experience and quality of service is very underwhelming. Not worth it for the price. Iād rather go to a higher priced Heyday but far superior quality of service, more than compensated by the higher price. My skin didnāt feel any difference after a facial, which has never happened with me before.
First of all they use gloves which really doesnāt feel good on your skin. Then they Really skimp on the product which I was surprised by. I had to call out areas that the aesthetician missed applying completely and even then they didnāt do a good job. The hot towels used on the face were smelly. The experience is uncomfortable with really bright lights shining right above you as you get the facial.
All in all, really not worth it. Iāll be going...
