Ed was my stylist for 5+ years, and his haircuts are among the things I miss most since leaving NYC! Even on my very first visit, Ed knew exactly how to help me achieve the look I was going for (an asymmetrical "lob"). Over the years I looked forward to visiting him for a glow-up, friendly chats, as well as some haircare education. Ed even taught me a couple styling tricks so that I could replicate his salon-quality blowouts at home. His prices were always incredibly fair for the quality -- my previous hairdresser cost more but left me way less satisfied. Can't recommend him highly enough! :-D

I love this place — been coming here since 2018 after graduating college and it’s the only place I go to in New York. They’re right now located on 9th street in the cutest neighborhood. Merlyn gives the absolute best head massages while shampooing your hair. She’s so talented at what she does. I always feel amazing after leaving this place. They’re extremely reasonably priced and I simply love and look forward to coming here. They get pretty busy so be sure to get in touch with them early to book an appointment!! ❤️

Ed has been my stylist for 10+ years now. I’ve followed him all across downtown bc the man is amazing. He is on point and meticulous. He truly is passionate about his work. He is a genius with hair colors and has always managed to get my jet black Asian hair to whatever I fancied. I’ve moved out the city but still come in just to get my hair cut by him. The salon is nice and laid back. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Give the place a try. You won’t regret it!

I had a balayage treatment at this location in March, and the stylist accidentally threw some hair bleach in my eye. It was a very painful experience. What was funny was that there was no immediate reaction from the staff to help with the situation, I had to ask for directions to the bathroom for running water to flush it out. To make it even more ridiculous, the receptionist kept on telling me to stop flushing running water on my eye, saying that it will hurt my eye and I should just keep my affected eye closed to let the tears clean it out! (What about the bleach then?!) I eventually did manage to flush for a few minutes but cut short due to the receptionist’s persistence. It really makes me wonder to this day, aren’t colorists supposed to be trained for emergencies like this? Are you guys properly trained and licensed to handle strong chemicals? Can you train yourselves and stop risking...

Ed did my hair last time, he is very professional, i went there and ask to bleached my hair. And i had bleached my hair maybe more than 10times.

He suggested not to bleached again after he test my hair to see if it’s breaks. Because my hair so bad, I end up to just dyed my hair to brown ash color and he wash my hair with color 4-5times to make sure the color keeps on my hair!!!! Very responsible and profession!!!

And it turns out very great!!! My new color blend very smooth my my natural hair color. I am so thankful that I choose him the day before my wedding. Believe or not he just save my life. And I am very picky person. So I am highly...
