When I tell you to drop what you are doing and book yourself an appointment at Uni K Wax East Village- you better get in formation!

After reading tons of reviews giving high praise to this studio, I knew I had to give them a try. Manny greeted me with a huge smile as I walked in from the pouring rain, and gave me space to gather myself before heading back with my technician. The waiting room was clean, smelling lovely, and there was a general warm vibe.

Ami was my technician and I couldn’t have been happier with the types of questions she asked upfront. Even though it wasn’t my first Brazillian, she took her time explaining how she was going to approach my service, and asked for my consent before continuing. The wax itself was the perfect temperature, and pulled off with less pain than any wax I’ve received to date (and I’ve had many)! Ami checked in with my comfort level every few minutes, and before I knew it, we were done!

This is one of those studios that, in my opinion, you get better service than what you pay for. Will be going back and telling everyone to book...

From all the Uni K locations I have been to this is my favorite location! I have been a loyal Uni K customer for over 10 years, I love the wax and products.

I visited the Uni K East Village studio recently and was treated with such kindness and professionalism. I was welcomed by the front desk with a warm smile and the front desk was very attentive.

What made the experience truly beyond was my waxer Lovepreet. She was such a sweetheart, she was so gentle. This was the most painless wax ever throughout all my years waxing. She paid so much attention to details to make sure everything was to perfection and to my liking.

I highly recommend this studio and will only he coming here from the future.

I went to the Astoria location a few years ago and did not like the experience at all so i avoided uni K completely. This time the place i wanted to go to had no openings and this location was nearby (and more affordable). This time was much better than Astoria; she did a good job and nothing was oddly uneven. She even trimmed with scissors, which isn't always the case at other places (no trimming or use a buzzer). Clean up could be better but she said i could clean myself off some more after she left the room. I also don't like the wax they use that doesn't require using cloth strips. She picks at a corner to pull up and it kind of hurts. Also she didn't pull it up in one go; it was a bit at a time and the wax is stretchy so there's a lot of unintentionally yanking just because of the...
