I want to start this review off by saying how shocked I am by all the good reviews. I originally chose the piercer Robbie from personal recommendations as well as all the good reviews I saw online. I have over 10+ piercings and this has been by far the worst and unprofessional piercing experience from start to finish.

Starting off with Red Flag 1: After submitting the appointment online to book my piercing earlier this month, the piercer immediately found my instagram and liked every selfie I have ever posted all the way dating back to 2017. Weird and immediately crossing client boundaries.

Red Flag 2: The day of the piercing, he marks the dot (which was not even measured) and right away I notice that it is not centered. I tell him that it’s not center, and ask him to move it over, and he insists that it’s correct. I trust his opinion since he’s the professional. After the piercing is done, I look in the mirror and right away notice it’s angled but he insists it’s correct so I figured it’s fine and supposed to look that way.

After taking pictures and looking more closely at it at home , it is in fact way more crooked than I thought, despite the minimal swelling in the area. I instantly message the piercer about it. He told me it’s due to one side of my piercing being more swollen than the other. He told me that everything is fine and not to believe everything that I read online. He then offered for me to come back in to “correct it” in a few days. (If everything is “normal”, why would you have me come back to have my piercing corrected?)

The next day, I go to a different piercing shop to get a second opinion. Multiple piercers at the shop confirm that it was in fact pierced very crooked, and not due to swelling. They remove it for me immediately. They told me that it was done so poorly, that I should ask him for a refund.

I end up messaging Robbie again, told him that I got a second professional opinion saying that it was in fact crooked. Instead of owning up to the fact that he made a mistake, he insisted that it should been corrected and repierced through the same hole. Did not receive a refund either, but that was expected.

I had the piercing in for less than 24 hours. I shouldn’t have to come back to the studio for you to correct it within the same week it’s done, it should be done correctly the first time. A good piercer should own up to the fact that it was pierced wrong, instead of placing the blame on the client for not wanting to come back to have it corrected. Complete waste of money and unprofessionalism. Would not recommend this place to anyone and the legitness of the piercer was questioned multiple times throughout the process. It’s been a couple weeks since the removal of the piercing and luckily only left with minimal scarring. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but hope this can help someone and reconsider this place before believing all the...

Most of my piercings (I have 15) were done by my guy in VA so I’m normally picky about going to other people lol, but I’m soooo glad I stopped by the shop during my visit to NYC and got a piercing by Robbie!! He did my anti-Tragus piercing, which can be a tricky spot but he did it perfect! I appreciated that he took his time to explain the jewelry placement & how it was gonna sit given my ear anatomy, you can tell he is really knowledgeable about piercings and making sure you will leave with something you really love. I’ve had my piercing for ~6weeks now and still get so happy every time I look at it lol and it’s healing great, hasn’t given me any problems at all. I also had some of my jewelry updated while I was here, there is a wide selection that I was really impressed with! And the prices are very fair, especially considering the high quality of services that he offers. Overall I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone, and plan to come back here the next time I’m in NYC. Thanks...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Robbie for a piercing, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience. Robbie's expertise and professionalism were evident from the moment I walked in. The piercing was executed with remarkable precision and care, showcasing Robbie's exceptional skill and attention to detail.

Throughout the process, Robbie maintained a high standard of hygiene and provided clear, thorough instructions on aftercare, ensuring that the entire experience was both comfortable and reassuring. The result is not only aesthetically pleasing but also demonstrates Robbie’s commitment to his craft and his clients' well-being.

I highly recommend Robbie for anyone seeking a piercing. His proficiency and dedication make him a standout in the field, and I am confident that anyone choosing his services will be...

This is my second time going to Robbie to get a new piercing. The first time he did my daith a couple years ago and it healed beautifully. Last Friday I went to him to get a new piercing but I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted so Robbie showed me a bunch of different options and helped me pick. Ended up getting my conch and it looks so good. The piercing was super quick, painless & done extremely well. He also helped me change out a bunch of old earrings for new ones that I purchased somewhere else and turned my silver daith earring into gold until I could get a new earring for it. Overall 10/10 experience he’s the best and the only one I’ll go to for new piercings. Highly recommend!!!

Had the best experience here. Got my industrial done. Unbelievably professional, insightful and goes beyond expectations. He customized my bar to make sure it would heal better on my small ears. When I was 15 I had gotten this done but the skin grew over the bar so I had to get it removed. He told me it wasn’t done properly. And let me tell you, I remember the pain from when I was 15. And this felt nothing like that. It doesn’t hurt or feel hot or throbbing. Wish he existed back then when I initially got it done. He took his time as well to make sure things were done right. When someone pierces you with love. Thank you so so much!!!!
