HE FASHION BOUTIQUE — Local services in New York

We frequent this little shop often, living very close by. My 18 year old daughter and her 2 friends visited the store yesterday, Sunday, and were treated TERRIBLY! The owner stood close by the whole time (not Covid social distanced) and counted the rings that one of the girls was wearing to be sure she wasn't stealing. He also said that after being open for only one hour and one hour later than google stated online, the staff was going on a lunch break and that the girls had to pay and get out. Then, 2 older customers came in and they stayed open for them. Too bad, I have sent so many people to shop there, always highly recommending them, but after the awful way they treated my daughter and her friends, we are taking our business elsewhere and I will be telling all of our friends about their terrible customer service. I understand that the store probably suffers from shoplifters but it made no sense to treat these young women as poorly as they did. My daughter and her friends were very, very upset to be treated so badly when they all had been looking forward to spending some holiday money at the store. I wish they hadn't made the small purchases that they did. The store does not deserve...
