I was super excited to get a really relaxing facial, but it was quite dull and not what I expected. First, my service didn't last the entire 50 minutes. I was pulled back late, even though I arrived early, and then was done right at the time that I would have been done had it started on time. Even once I was pulled back, the room was not set up and I waited longer. There was no blanket to cover up with, either, which I thought was normal practice. I was especially disappointed in the facial massage. I said on my form and also verbally that was the main reason for coming in, and there was not much of it at all. With other facials I have had, during face masks, the person will work on your neck area or do a hand massage, or continue with the facial massage. I was simply laying there for a decent amount of time with a cold towel on my face. There was also no work or product put on my neck, which from reading the instructions on the Heyday website, it seemed like that was common practice. My skin therapist was very kind, but it was not the quality that I was anticipating. Perhaps it was an end of...
Read morei really liked ryan but the overall experience at heyday was not great. arrived to find out there is no working bathroom so i had to leave to go find one… thankfully a restaurant nearby let me use theirs. ryan was great but she gave me a treatment without advising it would cost $50 extra… prob not her fault. i’m assuming the company encourages an upsell:.. but it was not explained it would cost more and i did not agree to that. i had never been there so not sure why i would assume it costs more? then when i paid they gave me the sticker shock… asked for a receipt which they said would be emailed and wasn’t emailed. i emailed them to get it and they sent me a screenshot and apologized saying their system doesn’t typically provide a detailed receipt. yeah… because charging me for a service they presented as included is not legal. i’ll be disputing it with my credit card or if they simply refund me that would be better. i wouldn’t recommend the environment/vibe - there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, no bathroom, not private…. but i enjoyed my...
Read more2023 Update I'm still with Heyday UWS today (September, 2023), 2 estheticians further (now with my girl Yanelli, LOVE HER!!!) and an increased monthly membership of $114 D'Oh! (Only monthly selfcare I give myself). Even with the enormous $ jump, I am still a happy loyal customer, and I still recommend Heyday (UWS) to everyone!
Initial 2019 / Pre-Covid Review I found out about this Heyday via Google Maps. I was thinking about going to Skin Spa New York (before I found out about Heyday), but their reviews scared me off. Heyday however had great reviews and well deserved I can say. Cindy C is my go to gal for Heyday. She is very gentle and very fun to talk to while she is taking care of me. She truly knows what she is doing and will lovingly talk me through it. This location looks very nice and the ladies at the front desk are very kind. I am signed up for the 30min-50min plan for $76 per month. Meaning one month I receive the 30min treatment and the other month I receive the 50min treatment. I am very happy that I found Heyday...
