The staff here is really friendly, but the studio is uncomfortably over booked in the evenings. I’m really excited that things are starting to reopen but crowded rooms still feel uncomfortable, not to mention the fact that we’re so packed in it’s hard to do certain exercises when you’re concerned about kicking your neighbor. It also makes it harder to get form corrections from the instructors as they can only have eyes on so many people at once. That being said, many instructors have recently gotten amazing (a payoff from virtual?) at giving very helpful verbal cues this year.
It’s already a tricky space they’re working with, and when you arrive while the other class is leaving it’s a logistical zoo. The bathrooms here are great, but the changing rooms are not stocked with the typical amenities (wet wipes, spray deodorant, dry shampoo), if you can even find space in one, as everyone is crowded into the waiting area.
I’ll probably be moving my evening classes to a larger studio, I don’t even bother with morning classes anymore as there’s no space to properly freshen up before work. WFH ending for so many of us is putting a stress on these limited spaces.
On the plus side, they do have the best clothing selection at this location, if you’re looking to add a cute new outfit to the mix, consider checking out the clothing...
Read moreI started attending Pure Barre through ClassPass after years of doing Pilates and wanting to push myself in a new way. I was immediately terrible at it—but I was also immediately hooked. The welcoming atmosphere, the incredibly patient and encouraging instructors, and the constant challenge drew me in right away. It didn’t take long before I became a full member!
What I love most is that every class format brings something different—each one pushes you in a new way, and I truly can’t pick a favorite. The classes are always engaging, and I leave every single one feeling stronger and better than when I walked in.
The studio itself is so well run, which can’t be said for every fitness space. Classes start on time, they’re consistent, and I’ve never had to worry about last-minute class cancellations. There’s a strong sense of reliability and care that makes the whole experience even better.
While we all have our favorite instructors, what sets Pure Barre apart is knowing that no matter who’s teaching, the class will be fantastic. I really can’t recommend it enough!
And special shoutout to Ryan who always makes us...
Read moreThe worst costumer service I’ve ever had to experience. I called last week to report two cancellation fees on my card and was told I will be refund but as a week passed by I didn’t see any refund in my bank so I called again and was greeted with an attitude from Allison in which she said I canceled a class 03/13/21 14mins before class. I told her that would be impossible because I was in that class that day and I checked my email and have proof there was no class canceled for that day she insisted that the mistake was on my end after I told 3 times I never canceled that day then she accused me of harassment for wanting my money back for something I didn’t cancel then she yelled and hung up the phone on me. I have to call my bank because this is fraud especially when I have proof of not canceling. I do not recommend Pure barre not only is their late policy unethical but the whole atmosphere is...
