Wow, where to start... I started coming to HVRMINN for their coffee. Paul is the man! He brews up the best lattes, and he does so with pomp and circumstance in his 3-piece suit. After becoming a regular, I’ve become infatuated with their craft and attention to detail. There’s a lost art in suiting, drowned by the leisurewear market, but not to worry! A suit that fits perfectly will be in your closet forever, so I decided to order my first real suit.

When I finally made the decision, Minn, THEE head designer, was extremely patient and understood this was a big step for me. We sipped espressos as we flipped through their fabric swatch books. I was between two different blues, and he nudged me toward the more confident blue. I took his suggestion, and we got to measuring.

The measuring portion was perhaps the most intimate part, because the designer of all of these beautiful pieces was the one measuring me. At this point I got to pick button and pocket placements, so I could have my own creative touch, making it my own.

Their craftsmen spent the next few weeks sewing away, but Minn and Paul were always updating me when I dropped by for coffee. I received my suit soon thereafter. It was exactly how I dreamt my first real suit would look. Such an iconic silhouette! I’ll be back...

Just two great guys making the best custom tailored suits in NYC.

They have a beautiful shop in Dumbo and it's definitely worth visiting just to get a feel for the style and type of clothes they make. They place a huge emphasis on quality, and their attention to detail is exceptional.

I got my first custom tailored suit from them and since then I've never really looked back. I get endless compliments wherever I go and the best thing is that it feels so damn comfortable and silky smooth on my body.

Did I mention that the place doubles as a coffee...

It has been a long journey finding a suit that not only fits properly ,but also is instilled with quality, charm and boldness to set it apart from everyone else. From my first fitting to the delivery of my made to measure suit , I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to details, craftsmanship and customer service. I was so happy with my mtm suit I had another made soon after and can proudly say I will be getting a few more to add to the collection! Oh and the coffee...
